Being serious, other than no state income tax what do you do?
What bills or legislation would you try to pass?

Edwards has one of his staff members feeling out ideas again.
Offer corporate tax perks
Run a full extensive audit on the BRPD and mayors office
Clean house
Hire the best based on education, job experience and common sense not just by color.

Civil lawsuit reform to make us more in line with other states. I don’t know exactly how as I’m not a lawyer, but we need to be similar to other states and not economically disadvantaged.
Serious, meaningful school reform. Whether that’s teacher performance accountability, parent accountability, or school choice, we need to improve the public education performances.

Getting the crime under control has to be first. Why would people want to move to a state infested with crime?
How attractive is a state where three of its largest cities (New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Shreveport) are largely unsafe at night?

-Improve infrastructure before anything else
-Cut red tape and bullshite studies for improvement projects
-Constitutional convention to change what we can cut from the budget
-Offer incentives for relocating and new companies
-Offer incentives for talent to relocate
First two items have to happen before anything improves and that probably can't be done in a single term.

Lean on NOLA to let Mardi Gras run.
There are bigger issues to be dealt with but that is the easiest immediate band-aid, as it will stimulate the tourism economy at a time we desperately need it.
Long term, the state legal environment needs a total overhaul and the pay-for-play bullshite by local pols needs to be cracked down on, but that likely isn’t happening without several Acts of God.
