If a sandwich maker refused service to someone wearing a Black Lives Matter or Gay Pride shirt they would be charged with a hate crime. None of them should be denied service due to the message on their shirt.

A franchisee owns the store. A normal guy who has likely put his life savings on the line to own and operate a business and this is how his employee repays him. By jeopardizing his future and hurting the Subway brand.
