you may not but there's a large segment of the population that truly HATES him. They hate him with a passion normal people reserve for someone who hurts them personally - like stealing a loved one, getting them fired, hurting a family member, etc. This irrational hatred of someone who has no personal affect on their lives is TDS. It's multi-faceted. I was having this conversation the other day. To paraphrase what was discussed:
1.) He makes fun of them and belittles them (deservedly so). Stupid ideas are stupid ideas. Leftists try to bully you by calling you a bully for not agreeing with controversial and stupid ideas without question.
2.) He undermines the Marxists and calls them out for what they are. Global Warming, claims of racism, claims of fascism, income inequality, free healthcare/housing/higher education/food, defund the police, DEI, etc, are all tools that Marxists are using. Divide and conquer, while creating economic conditions that will have people begging for the government to step in and take over.
3.) He scares them - not because of what he does, but because they fear that he will be successful. Not just successful, but successful in spite of leftist opposition. They have no room for claiming that they had any part in the border security.
4.) He openly opposes globalism by putting America 1st. Sending jobs/money overseas promotes Globalism where no country is better or worse than any other. They are all equally bad. Protecting the border falls in this bucket, too.

Exactly the opposite with the people I know who support Trump.....the alphas love Trump because they want high T fighters leading the nation. What I find, and without exception is Democratic Socialist males are by far as triggered by Trump as leftist women.....totally unglued with rampant TDS.

I think it is a combination of this above and also that he is an a-hole. I say that in a loving way as one a-hole to another. He talks shite about people. Even though almost everyone in government is evil, they like to portray themselves in public as being upstanding and civilized and do not take well to being shite talked at all. I think it bothers them so bad that they would resort to trying to end the man's life.
