It's not a matter of dictating or not.
You might be familiar with the quote "Markets can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent"

My experience with people from that part of the world is that they lie as easy as they breath. “Good faith” is nonexistent.

Trump lacks the broad public support for a ground invasion, so he’s looking for a negotiated end which won’t require such a costly expensive escalation. The IRGC has no desire to compromise and won’t abide by any deal. So, both sides are essentially at a stalemate.

They only understand strength, so you have to finish them once you start. It’s ok to lie to infidels, and they will use politics ( democrats) to defeat public opinion if they can just delay a little longer, unfortunately… Just hit them, be decisive, and let them come to you for negotiations , if any are left, and that’s the only way to win…

The Pentagon is fighting this like Vietnam. Air Power alone cannot achieve military victory, you need the total combined force, land, sea, and air. You have to hold territory to impose your will, and without unconditional surrender you've accomplished nothing.
