Additionally, I'll be she's allergic to sleeping on cotton sheets, with her head laying next to a pillow case made of cotton, drying her amazon like figure with cotton towels (like those she uses on court) ... endorsing slavery obviously.

I bet 99% of the folks rustled over this don't know the old trick about getting to the field as early as you can, whilst the dew is still on the cotton, so your first sack or two would weigh heavier.

Are we talking about cotton pickers (the machines) or picking cotton (by hand, with a large sack or basket)? If the latter, I would wager you could ramp that age up 10-20 years as hand-picking had been nearly completely replaced by cotton pickers by the 1960s (an estimated 5% was still picked by hand in the late 60s, with those being mostly small, hilly farms).

Now that I think about it, you could probably ramp that number up 10-20 years regardless of which way you went as a single instance of the early (1950s) cotton pickers picked the equivalent of 150-250 hand-pickers.

I don't know that I would go quite 90% as there are still a lot of us around who grew up when cotton was still a major crop across the South. That said, the number of those who have never seen it has likely grown quickly since GW Bush's ethanol mandate helped escalate the amount of farmers moving from cotton since the 70s & 80s.

Slaves picked cotton for a period in history, so does that mean we should stop wearing clothes made of cotton? How about silver or gold? Slaves have dug for gold, silver and other prrcious metals, should we all stop wearing gold and silver too? I am so sick of this stupid Leftist inane shite.
