It's not reflecting as much as it did a few weeks ago.

Turns out the contractor Trump gave the no-bid contract to did a shite job and now the DOJ is having to drop charges against the "vandals" they arrested to try and blame for the shitty work.

It’s a poorly designed, too shallow, functionally non-flowing body of water built in a swamp.
It has always been a disgusting mess during the higher-temp months, and it will remain doing so until it’s completely rebuilt.

The preview of things to come.
Probably.
* What? People don’t want a clean clear reflection pool?

It needs filtration pumps and chlorine.

Trump hired this contractor to do a shite job so that the media’s attention will be drawn to the reflecting pool instead of the Epstein files.
Stay woke.

I honestly don’t understand why this is so hard.
Is it a bigger job than a backyard pool? Yes.
Is it the same principle that has worked for decades? Also yes.

We don't want to talk about it here. We only want to talk about the wins...Not the embarrassing losses.

Board would be very quiet if this was the case.

Sounds like contractors adding additional layer of material gave opponents the excuse for damage instead of blaming the people who tried their hand in destroying. Although they clearly had proof in attempt they let one off the hook but others still face issues

And after the Nolan Wells case it put to bed, some people will still say "That doesn't sound right. There was evidence."
OP is the same caliber of person. Detachment from reality.

September 11, 2026 can’t get here soon enough. I’d say we need some new conspiracy theories around here, but I suppose rehashing 25-year-old conspiracy theories will suffice.

Embarrassing that you actually believe that

It is a little bigger of a job than a backyard pool. It is too shallow, too big, wildlife keeps pissing and shitting in it, and it overflows into some wetland shite. That’s a hard combo to defeat. It is seriously the perfect Petri dish for algae, perfect temp, lots of nutrients, and hard to treat chemically with the crazy constraints bc of where it overflows, and damn near impossible to get the correct amount of circulation/filtration without rippling the water so much it would no longer be a “reflecting” pool. Also has a massive amount of water loss from evaporation, which means it gets replaced with fresh water, making it even harder to keep the chemical levels, ph, alkalinity, etc straight.
