I don’t think we know that the contractor did a bad job yet. There could very well be structural issues with the pool itself that would rip any lining due to the expanding and contracting of the concrete slabs, no matter how well it was installed.
I think this is likely the issue and Trump’s big frick up was not rebuilding the whole pool and instead rushing a cosmetic project to be ready for the 250 celebrations.
