I can’t believe there has been people destroying them. Don’t they know they are for our own good. People should definitely NOT be messing with them.

I understand not wanting flock cameras, but shouldn’t there also be widespread outrage for our cell phones and doorbell cameras too? The government already knows our habits and our routines by us using those.

Hell I've been approached in the self-checkout when the camera thought I was pulling a fast one.
Not happy about it, but it's today's reality. Catch the bad guys and prosecute the abusers.

Hate to break it to you but that ship has sailed. You have traffic cameras on most major roads and downtowns - you have ring cameras and private surveillance cameras at houses capture movement on streets and everyone has a camera in their phones. If you leave your house, it ain't private anymore.

Yes......the state only wants to.............help you. These things will NEVER, EVER be used for nefarious purposes by law enforcement. Why don't people understand that having all of these cameras that lead to processing data is only there to protect us.....there's no chance law enforcement will abuse this tool.

I believe there should be an entity created that can be funded by the people, those funds tax deductible, for the purpose of letting Americans know countrywide what these and so many other cameras are doing.

I know the left currently is against flock cameras because we’re using them to find and deport illegal immigrants, but what happens when a democrat administration gets into office with flock cameras? We saw the what they did to catch Jan 6ers so they 100% will weaponize them against conservatives and to censor free speech.

i'm more concerned about the crime in my city than the government having access to neighborhood cameras, so i don't mind them.

Your complaint then is not that you have a right to privacy, but how the data is stored and accessed. You are being surveilled whether you like it or not. The best you can do is to put in place safeguards to try to prevent it being misused and prosecute the hell out of anyone who violates it.
Just think what the data base for your credit cards show. What you buy and where, what type of gas and where you buy it - what you eat and where and much more. They no only don't safeguard that data, they sell it to others

So you want to ban flock cameras because someone misused them. Isn't that the exact argument the gun control people make? Because a few abuse guns, they should be banned for all?
