Some people have misused cameras in phones. Do we ban all cell phones or just ban having cameras in them?

How about cars, they can be misused - ban them as well/

Any and all technology can be misused just as any and all laws can be broken. You punish the wrongdoers, not ban the technology.

Same, and I will continue driving with my tailgate down until the last one is removed.

Appreciate where you're coming from, so here's an extra tip. Even regular traffic cams can make a facial recognition match. Do more about protecting what can be seen through your front windshield too.

Cops are just like the rest of us. They are everything from outstanding citizens to murderers and rapist. That pedo in the coffee shop might be a cop.

People who think l like this still after the Covid era are just brain dead retards to me.
It takes one Marxist in charge to destroy ANYONE who “has nothing to hide” with cameras everywhere. Enjoy being locked down for a cold again

I hear the concern but do not understand the selective outrage. Of all the data bases that have been collected and are still being collected, Flock has more safeguards than most. The local government that leases the cameras (and determines where they are placed) also control what other agencies the info is shared with, how long the date is retained and who and under what circumstances the data can be viewed.

So if you want the Flock cameras removed, what about all those other data bases?

Seems like they could make it to where a search required a case number.

Of course then you'd have departments setting up fake cases as a repository for their fake searches.

If Flock camera tech was widespread during Covid they would have used it.

They'd send you a photo of you in your car with mask down, demand $250, and use the money to buy more Flock cameras.

*SIGH*
OK so before we kick this motherfricker off, I'll make you a deal.
I'll give up my guns to prevent crimes, when you give up your penis to prevent rapes.
Deal? OK You go first.

Come at me.
I'll get to you when I feel like it.

Ok, if you wanna call it, no prob. Sayonara.

The cameras have potential as a valuable tool for public safety. Unfortunately, there is a lot of potential for abuse. There should be standardized regulation and limits on their use.

I have no issue with cameras. There is no privacy in public which is why they are legal. If you don’t want to be filmed don’t leave your house. We’ve been recorded for years at every ATM and gas station and no one complained. It’s just the latest thing to whine about.

I actually like them for crime prevention and detection. When I leave my house I know I’m being recorded so I don’t do stupid things. I know I’m being recorded inside any store and it’s never impacted my life at Home Depot, Wal Mart, getting gas, going to my bank, going to a school event, so being recorded while I drive down the road doesn’t bother me in the least.

The political board and these threads are always fun to watch the radicals come out.
