He didn't put tariffs on most finished consumer goods simply because he knew there would be backlash. The tariffs are still in place.

Had they built the wall, 7 million illegals would be outside the border. Those illegals have suckled at least 10k each. Thats 70 billion that wouldnt have been spent. The 8 billion wall would have saved 62 billion. Thats what trump meant. He didn't mean mexico writes a check.

About half the number of illegals dont cross the Rio Grande illegally.
