but at least he had been successful at USM

Yeah, with Bret Farve as his QB.
Pop Quiz:

Name a college coach that won a National Championship and recruited a Heisman Trophy, Biletniff Award and Thorpe Award winners that Tulane could hire?

Wait, name a coach that anyone could hire with those credentials?

Coach O did all of the above. So easy to forget, yet the records and awards never go away.
I was there.

It was glorious. Poor Archie had a cast on his arm and was running for his life most of the night.
He also took MONEY that SOMALIS STOLE from the U.S. Government as campaign donations.

He's a crook too.
You don't understand the new NIL structure. LSU NIL is head and shoulders beyond anything Ole Miss has currently.
He claims he used a line from a rap song as a metaphor BUT NEVER directly called Lane a "hoe".

It seems that Lane understands what a metaphor is and also what a piece of shite reporter is too.

Just another Ole Miss homer whining about Kiffin, as Kiffin challenges him to his face. Too funny.
So, if he comes to LSU it will be because GOD led him to Baton Rouge!

Winning the Miss Pierre Part contest.

Sure, you are a winner but you'll never be known as Miss Louisiana.

Ole Miss is the limiting factor. It's not LSU, Florida, or Bama...or Auburn or Tennessee....or Texas or Oklahoma....and never will be.

LSU will hire a good coach. He will be an upgrade to checked-out Brian Kelly.

LSU will rise again, unfortunately for the Ole Miss fans, the South won't rise again and neither will the Rebels.
Well, all the needless angst can end. Missouri has stepped up and kept their coach.

He mostly let others coach. When Les' coaching hires left, O floundered. He is not head coach material, but he is a great recruiter and a decent D-line coach

Coach O HIRED Brady as OC. He recruited Joe Burrow, who was going to Cincinnati.

O's personal shortcomings have been corrected, just like LK's have as well.

O know's he screwed up but has moved forward and has real value as a coach and recruiter.
Several BIG MONEY LSU donors refused to give more money, WITHOUT Coach O.

Many wanted LSU to re-hire O.

Never forget, Ed Orgeron put together and coached possibly (likely) the GREATEST COLLEGE TEAM of ALLTIME!

Hating O won't ever change what he accomplished.
No, Ole Miss hasn't won a National Championship in almost 70 years.

Sorry.

No, your response to an obvious troll shows you need to get off the computer.

Either post something true, something to make others laugh, or don't post anything. I've been on TD since September 2003, I've seen it all, and laugh at most of it.
LSU being a national brand can attract better players from across the U.S.

Ole Miss isn't a national brand and Oxford isn't exactly a hotspot for young athletes.

LSU will use their money to shop at a better marketplace - Think Fresh Market.

Ole Miss will use their money to shop at - Think Piggly Wiggly

Perspective and comparitive opportunities, simply aren't the same.

So, uh, why did we just go through a shutdown over this only to turn around and want to do it anyways

No, these will be targeted tax credits. Illegals WON"T BE Eligible. More accountability, tighter guidelines, money will be saved. Voters will be happy.
Thanks for telling the world you never got the hot girl. Too funny.
Whoever LSU hires, the resources to win at the highest levels are now in place.

When LSU goes shopping for players, money won't be able issue.

Getting rid of Kelly and Woodard forced LSU to get it's sh*t together.

Hunt's family is from New Orleans.

I'm a BIG fan. Young, smart, conservative....Why not now?
Its simple dollars and cents as the primary reason.

Ole Miss doesn't generate the kind of money LSU and Florida do.

When CNBC ranked the top 75 college athletic department valuations:
College Sports Valuations - CNBC

13. Louisiana State University $916M $200M SEC Baton Rouge, LA

14. University of Florida $865M $189M SEC Gainesville, FL

29. University of Mississippi $651M $142M SEC Oxford, MS

Ole Miss generates ONLY 71% of the revenue that LSU does. Whether Lane Kiffin stays or not, that won't change. Financially, Ole Miss simply can't compete with LSU or Florida.

As of right now it's just a VERBAL COMMITMENT!

Either Kiffin's word is good or its not.

If Kiffin's word is good, he's the type of person you would want.

If Kiffin's word is no good, he's not the type of person you would want.

Good example: Tom Herman. Where is he now? How did this turn out for him.

Coach, bus driver, anybody, IF YOUR WORD IS NOT GOOD, Neither are you.
I never thought that I would live to see so many LSU fans being a group of low esteem pussies.

Sadly, that day has come.

BTW, I have been in the room when decisions were made for who to hire as LSU's coach. Those decisions are made far from places like Tigerdroppings.
