Why are you in favor of adding as many people to the welfare rolls as possible?

I'm in favor of fixing broken government programs - not eliminating them completely.

I believe a mentally challenged child shouldn't die alone living in a trash can like what happens in nations without programs like this.

They have socialized medicine in Canada.

They also have free vocational training for everyone. If you are poor and want a good job as a mechanic or working in the oil fields, training is available free of charge.

In fact, you can opt out of college prep high schools at grade 10 and start training at vocational schools which have direct lines to mentorship programs at graduation.

What exactly is your definition of welfare?

I have attached a chart (twice, on pages 1 and 3) that breaks down the spending by category and tells you how much we spent on each category for the last 5 years. Just scroll up on this page.

No socialized medicine is not welfare. Otherwise, the number for Canada would be 100%, eh?

This reminds me of a black guy from Chicago saying education should be free...

Brother, what the frick do you think public education is? Yall just dont use it to your advantage.

Who has suggested getting rid of anything? Certainly not me. I suggested that we cut our welfare expenditures in half. Welfare should be need based, not a lifestyle.

Would you believe that not everyone on disability is disabled? Kind of like not everyone who files for asylum is a refugee.

Canada has 2% on welfare, the US has 20%. Why? Our system is abused and the powers that be approve. The only way it can get reform is for people to raise their voices and make a big deal about it. People like you will raise your voices to keep the abuses in place, though. Every time someone suggests reform, the leftists cry that it's racist, unfair, greedy, etc... Other countries do it, why can't we?

Doesn't matter.

My criteria is not based on race, sex, color, creed, gender, or national origin.

It's completely neutral of all of those.

My criteria solely targets a conflict of interest.

And none of them should be allowed to vote.

Agree 100% bc they one day will vote themselves more money as we have to pay more.

No, you didn't. But we do ticket those who are caught.

I guess since a few people don't follow the rules we should just get rid of all traffic lights and save some money
Didn't say that, did I? We can scrutinize applications far more than we do. We can raise the bar for what truly is a disability. We could actually enforce penalties.

This is why our taxation scheme is a damn joke! As I posted in another thread, the homelessness hustle, the imagination hustle, the endless wars, the MIC, the money we give to organizations like NATO, charitable donations to impoverished countries, is all squandered away; corrupt politicians with insider information set up “non profits” and extort this money! They enrich themselves off the sweat of hard working Americans. It’s sickening to think about! And to your point, when wasteful spending on welfare, SSI, Medicare, are added in, there is no reason our tax burden should be HALF! I don’t mind contributing to society, I don’t mind lending a helping hand, but it’s totally out of control!

I'm all for getting people off the government, but I am not sure this is the path.

Sink or swim. Govt abused its power by stealing money from citizens to redistribute to certain citizens of its own choosing.

They’re should be grateful for having a lifetime of all their needs provided.

The difference between us and Canada is that they have very strict immigration laws and will only accept migration from people with education and skills to help their economy and contribute to government coffers. We throw the doors wide open to uneducated, unskilled 3rd World shitbirds who are net drains on the system the minute that they arrive.

While true, most of our worthless, non working while able, shitbirds are homegrown.

The number of people getting some form of welfare in my part of rural WI is very high. And they didn't swim the Rio Grande.

Lots of single white mommas with multiple baby daddies.

From what I hear every child of a single momma has ADHD.

So does the United States. Free public school, many with vocation training, and free or extremely cheap/subsidized vocational tech schools.

In Louisiana, Tops covers vo tech. Pell Grants also pay for them. So not sure what point you are trying to make.

What pisses me off more is the money we spend all over the planet on stupid shite that could be spent on our people. I don’t want to spend taxpayer money on bailing out student loans anymore than I want to spend it on Ukrainians. But if I have to pick, I choose the student loans every fricking time.

How many jobs could we have created and houses could we have built for our people over the last 20 years with the 7 trillion we spent in Afghanistan? But it all went to MIC f@ggots. Be a lot less blood and tears as well.

But I’m just a knuckle dragging populist according to this board.

That chart shows there are 13 welfare programs.
Medicaid spending > than the other 12 programs combined.
