Irans attempt will be purposefully weak
Their military will lay low for awhile, but they will carry out sporadic paramilitary terrorist assaults until their nuclear site infrastructure is restored.
Iran's nuclear ambitions are still strong as many credible news reports suggest they moved their entire stockpile of enriched uranium prior to Operation Midnight Hammer.

Goddamn conservatives are weak, makes sense now why the left was able to so easily do whatever they wanted.
It’s funny how people who are finding themselves agreeing with and upvoting SFP, and typical board lefties, think they are on the right side here.

People are realizing I was correct about a sizeable portion of the MAGA fanbase, who is now going full on neocon.
The neocons hid it for years, but they're revealing their true selves, as I predicted.

About the Iranian situation? I'm not.
You're conflating 2 things, which isn't shocking.
The situation in Iran is a different discussion than posters on tigerdroppigns, if you didn't know.

Go away you ignorant frick. Every response to your garbage is about you not what you spew yet you continue to post for look at me acceptance and no one does except the other two or three blowhards like you.

Whomever doesn't think Iran would be obliterated if they attacked our bases clearly haven't been paying attention to what Trump is saying.
He didn't start a war, he's preventing a war by limiting Iran's offensive capabilities yet people are dumping on him b/c Muh War!

No you found cowards that don’t understand being proactive instead of feeding it like neocon types would for max retaliation when it boils over.

Yeah, now Iran will start funding terror groups and supporting attacks and killing troops where they weren’t doing that before!

Disagree a bit. If Iran retaliates it's not leading to invasion. Just a big kick in their arse again.
Also the possible ramifications were all vetted and discussed. So this wider conflict pearl clutching is just not realistic. The greater ME does not like Iran. At all.

this has been rebutted over and over.
the USSR was in iran after WW2. Do you remember what truman told russia concerning iran? the tudeh party was the comunist party in iran. There was concerns they would take over and possibly allow an annex of iran.... ya know like their neighbors who were part of the USSR? removing mosadegh was purely cold war tactics so that would not happen.
the links have been posted here a million times

And then we gave Iraq access to chemical and biological weapons which were then used by Iraq against Iran.
incorrect and wrong. you are re-posting left wing drivel that has been debunked for ages. we gave/sold him zero chemical or biological weapons. iraqi TSMID did buy biological cultures for study(that was their excuse as a possible front group). now was that passed on to SH? who knows but that is a far cry from the US military giving/selling him ready to go C&B weapons.
We cut off all ties with SH once it was confirmed he used C&B weapons on iranians.
quote:
In recent months there has been a great deal of bad information going around in the argument over whether we should attack Iraq, and whether Iraq is a threat to us. Some of that bad information is simple ignorance concerning chemical and biological warfare, and some is deliberate dis-information. Among those charges are that we (1) sold Saddam chemical and biological weapons, (2) equipped his army, (3) helped him in his war with Iraq. These charges are specious but start with a germ of fact. These “facts” are always twisted, blown out of proportion and presented out of context by those wishing to smear the USA with the taint of Saddam’s crimes.
quote:
I have also gone into great detail concerning Soviet and U.S. Bio/Chemical weapons programs to provide additional perspective.
quote:
1971. Iraq begins chemical warfare research at Rashad to the north east of Baghdad. Research is conducted on a number of chemical agents including Mustard gas, CS (tear gas) and Tabun. Iraq starts biological warfare research in the mid-1970s. After small-scale research, a purpose-built research and development facility was authorized at al-Salman, also known as Salman Pak.
quote:
1972. Saddam, knowing that the Soviet Union will re-equip the Iraqi Army, travels to Moscow. Iraq and the Soviet Union sign a treaty of “Friendship and Cooperation.” Another reason Saddam signs the treaty is because it obligated the local communist party, which is very strong, to co-operate with the Ba'ath Party, which is not so strong at that time.
quote:
By 1985 Iraq is producing 1,000 tons of various chemical weapons agents annually.
quote:
During the first half of the war the United States provides Iraq with limited military assistance in the form of satelite imagry of Iranian military dispostions and troop concentrations. Assistance is ended when their use of chemical weapons is confirmed
.
quote:
1983-1985. USA sells Iraq (31) Bell-214ST Helicopters (Officially bought for civilian use, but taken over by Air Force); (30) Hughes-300/TH-55 light helicopters (Officially bought for civilian use, but taken over by Air Force); (30) MD-500MD Defender light scout helicopters; (26) MD-530F light helicopters. This is the much vaunted sale of U.S. arms to Iraq! Only 26 of these aircraft are military versions and those are light, unarmed scouts.
quote:
1988, September 29. Iraq’s Ministry of Trade’s Technical and Scientific Materials Import Division (TSMID), which American intelligence had recently identified as the front for Iraq’s germ warfare program, orders additional germ cultures, one of which was Anthrax strain 11966. In February 1989, further sales to Iraq were banned. The Commerce Department also slammed the door shut on Iran, Libya, and Syria, who were also suspected of trying to develop germ weapons. This is the supposed “help” we gave to Iraq. We did not give the Iraqis “germ weapons” or the equipment to make them. The equipment used to manufacture germ weapons can be purchased off the shelf in over a dozen countries. The same equipment used to make animal feed, yogurt, fertilizer, powdered milk, and dozen of other legitimate products can be used to manufacture bio-weapons, which is why bio-weapons manufacturing facilities are easy to disguise. Iraq purchased materials and supplies to turn germs into weapons from around the world, but mostly from Europe. Cattle feed stock growing media from Britain, and machinery from France and Germany. Delivery systems from the Soviet Union and others.

Maybe. But if that’s the case, it’s exposed and at risk, and likely not ready to mount on a missile.
It’s just a matter of time before Israel finds it.

Simplistic & silliness, boy you got that smug working today. As not to type a dissertation on causes and effects but yes Iran has been stressed all day every day the end of Great Satan as well as the dust speck in the Mideast known as Israel. Iran in their nationalist view has all the rights to live the life they want, unfortunately it’s a bit more savage than the west can tolerate which has their own set of views. Until Iran considerations changes the death will continue
