For those of you who believe in this evil global establishment that holds this firm grip on things, why would you bother voting?

I mean, if this evil establishment has as much control as you fear, how is it that they allow you to decide (vote) on things like representatives and Presidents?

And if these folks aren't powerful enough to control our elections, then please explain to me exactly what I'm supposed to be afraid of.

I do it strictly to cancel out your vote. No other reason than that.

Not only that, voting puts me in a jury selection pool, aka the get out of work for at least a day pool.

So, the second part of my question. Do you believe in the evil globalist establishment elite?

If so, what am I supposed to be so afraid of? These bumbling stooges can't even place who they want in government positions.

The last parish president election in my hometown was decided by just a few dozen votes. The candidate who won was later indicted on bribery charges. Votes matter BIGLY!

Because from time to time, whether its by their own ego failing them, or by Divine Providence, they slip up and the people can score a great victory against them.

Because our votes actually mean something unlike those democrats who vote in the presidential primaries. Due to superdelegates dem votes don’t matter unless it happens to be the predetermined nominee.

About eight years ago the wife and I hemhawed back and forth about going to vote. A friend of ours was running for reelection on the quorum court. At the last minute we decided to go vote. She won reelection 468-466.
