So now the argument is that if there is a they, they cannot be possibly that incompetent to let Trump win, unless they didn't care if he won or not (i.e. he is one of them) or they don't exist at all?

The part that doesn't make sense to me is how anyone can simultaneosly believe that the deep state exists and that their vote matters.

Turns out those folks responding base their beliefs on faith. Facts don't really matter.
I guess that's the evolution (see what I'm doing here) of starting them out young believing in mythical characters that watch over them and listen to their prayers, if they are good little flock and their wishes are worthy enough of said mythical deity.
ETA: Could have turned out to be an interesting discussion had the admins not cleared it out to make room for another Trump circle jerk.

I pointed out a while back the parallels between romantic literature and the trump vs deep state fiction.. which even covers Q/hidden identities.. prophecy, etc.
The neat little wrinkle here is convincing them that they are red pilled
