Not to mention they are handing out scholarships hand over fist to out of state students, meanwhile screwing over worthy in state ones. They can go to hell until they clean house.

I’m happy to say that I made the same decision. I’ll never donate a penny to the joke known as higher education in any form or fashion. Way too many good people out there who could use indirect financial help to give money to a bunch of Marxist liberal shitbags

He has the similar name to me. I’m a 35 year old man. He is like a 75 yr old dude from Mississippi.

We also hate each other.
I don’t hate you. I fell out with State when they started plans on Dudy Noble. All they wanted was money and commitments and they couldn’t even tell me when I would access to me seats. I had already given up my football tickets. I just couldn’t stand the shoulder to shoulder seating. We were spending thousands to have a presence in Starkville and we got out of that several years ago. Apparently, good timing with all that is going on. I’m not 75. I am pretty ambivalent about MSU this year. Might watch if I’m in front of a tv but probably won’t go out of my way to stay home to watch.

LSU does not need your money. BLM is rich. They will supplant your donations 10X over. BLM is very rich and very reliable. They will spread the wealth to panderers. lol

LSU are big backers of the Marxist BLM organization.

I told them i won't be donating after they charged me an early move out fee for moving my daughter out of the dorm when it was LSU who made her move out in the first place because of Covid.

Different reasoning than most here, but I cannot in good faith donate to LSU for awhile.

Black lives matter is a divisive phrase.

Yes we can agree with the sentiment of equality but only when we all believe all lives matter. Not just black lives.

Can they recreate TS's atmosphere?

Is that really a wise course for a school to knowingly reject lifelong fans for BLM money?

If the two things weren’t inseparable, one of them would change to differentiate between them.

Too late for me. I usually donate five thousand bucks annually. I made additional 10 grand before CFP early Jan. Since I am pissed off with what is going on, I won't make any more including the fundraising campaign in future until I feel things are good again.

Polling backs that up. Over 70% of people agree with “All lives matter.”

I understand your frustrations but LSU has surpassed the high water mark for non-sense I can stomach.

My wife and I enjoy giving back because we have been so fortunate. LSU used to be one of those places.

We figured we would try something different. We’ll just send it to my local high school and let them figure it out.

I plan to talk to the principal to set up a scholarship fund specifically for trade school students. I am a big believer in that we will need to encourage our high school graduates to seek a marketable trade, not just a degree.

Giving a student $2,500 a year I think would help give them the ability to buy a computer (if they need that for trade school), food or even just gas money to help ends meet.

It’s a high school so you’re never going to have strict oversight of the money but hopefully it at least encourages those kids to know they’re valuable and trades isn’t something to be ashamed of. It’s a great living.

Kudos to you....have homeschooled each of my kids but have still paid taxes for other kids' education/indoctrination here in LA, and am now starting to pay college tuition(out of state) at a very conservative college, so I would refuse as well to contribute to indoctrination by the left.

Lol ... I almost posted this today. We must have gotten the same email. I politely replied and said I would not longer be contributing any money directly to the school for academics or athletics.

They'll just rake in dough from all those lucrative black donors. Poor Tyler Perry, I think he's about the only one?

I made my position perfectly clear for now and going forward. Take the cuck approach and go broke.
