re: Anyone have Blair's call of Peterson's hit? - Pianoman
That was a great call by Blair, and think LSU couldn't have chosen a better replacement for Jim. Jim will always have the luxury of having called during the Golden Age of LSU baseball and football which is hard to compete with....

Ed loves the lower expectations, so if he can manage to pull out a 7-5, he can crow about beating expectations!! :spank: :spank:...

re: The origin of the Tiger Rag - Pianoman
I don't read sports magazines much, but when I do, I read Tiger Rag....the most interesting LSU fan in America. I like their commercials, LOL. The Golden Girls stand in line waiting to get his signature....his season ticket# is 1...he taught Mike the Tiger how to roar in Spanish......

re: Could be the end of Eric Reid's NFL career or smaller deal than he's worth - Pianoman
Wow...you should take your brilliant IQ and go make a difference in our supposed unjust society instead of complaining and griping about how things work....the politics of grievance....your kind doesn't want race relations better, 'cause if they were, you wouldn't have anyone to blame any more....

re: Could be the end of Eric Reid's NFL career or smaller deal than he's worth - Pianoman
Pro players make a lot of coin but many of them and their parents grew up in a system that promotes and fosters poverty and injustice.
And you sir are the ignorant one, because you can thank your modern day Democratic Party, and the likes of Jackson, Sharpton, and Farrakhan, for p...

re: And that's 38 straight seasons - Pianoman
I think a good recruiting year will definitely help to get the team in the top 20-25, but to get to the elite 8 or final 4, we'll need players that will stay at least 3 years, with some staying 4....

re: Apparently Tiger fans haven't gotten the boycott football memo - Pianoman
Friend of mine isn't renewing his tickets and he inherited them from his father who had been going since the early 70's. Not enough quality games in Tiger Stadium, and the decline of the program since 2011 are big factors....

re: Saban loves sticking it to LSU - Pianoman
According to Orgeron, Surtain told him that he had decided to go to Bama TWO WEEKS before signing day, yet he only called the night before. You simply can't let these young punks hold the program hostage while we let others slip away. I would give them each an offer if they're both similarly talen...

re: EVERYTHING rises or falls on leadership!!! - Pianoman
Things do look more competitive in the SEC these days with Jimbo being added to the pile most recently. Doesn't bode well for us since we got our coach in the nobody-else-wants bargain bin section of the Dollar Store to save money. Instead of saving money, we've spent more on coaches who aren't eve...

EVERYTHING rises or falls on leadership!!! - Pianoman
As in Georgia rising to the NCG after only 1 year of their new coach, and also rising to #1 in the recruiting rankings this year. Sadly, we don't have that type of leader at this point, but it's nice to know that if the right one comes along, the tide(see what I did there) can be turned in only one...
Kevin Faulk, more than any other individual(including the angry little man from West Virginia), brought LSU football back from the abyss.
LOL, no, sorry, can't agree with ya there....

re: Enough of WBB - Pianoman
The same can be said that if you ran Usain Bolt against the fastest women sprinter, and she lost to him, your opinion would be that women's track is "crappy".
That's not an accurate comparison to what he was talking about. For your example, it would need to be a guy that was a dece...

re: How weird is it that LSU & Saints lost in essentially the same way? - Pianoman
After all the kneeling crap and Payton's stupid gun control comments, I haven't watched a single Saints game or any other NFL game for that matter. They can all crash and burn....

re: Our entire returning senior class for football - Pianoman
So all these Juniors leaving tells me that O has not inspired enough confidence in them that next year is going to be anything worth staying for. Not only does Saban keep more juniors, but he's got 'em stacked several players deep in case one does bolt in which case he's got several other 4-5* play...
