My email stated exactly why. It was pretty simply put. Don’t think it’ll go anywhere but I did respond.

I’m sponsoring the trade school program from my local high school. Those kids never get any love and they deserve support too.

I am fortunate enough to have undergrad, masters and a MBA (in progress) but those professions are far more valuable.

I don’t even know what they’d do with the donation but we’re sending it to them. Maybe scholarship or some crap every year. Hell if I know.

I don’t even give as much as you, but I said “no” also. When I was asked why I no longer wanted to give my annual donation, I said “as a white male, I cannot put my alma mater in the uncomfortable position of accepting my tainted systemic racism induced donations”. There was a few seconds of silence and then a “uhhh...ok...um...well...ok...thank you. goodbye.”. I’m sure it was a minimum wage student but I wanted the message heard.

My annual $2500 donation ain’t much but it’s going to the local high school for their trade school program. Not those bunch of fools.
If your donation was tied to securing seats, that have happened way before BLM and lsu made their deal. I’m skeptical.

I don’t have LSU tickets. Don’t even live in BR. We just give $200+ a month to annual drive.

My donation is potatoes. My extended families’ donation, which has a scholarship named after them, will be the real head fake to them when it’s revoked.

LSU wants donations?

LOL

Go ask those BLM folks for some donations. See if they give you money for whatever crap you’re trying to build.

Please dont just say no. Let them know WHY. Tell them you won't stand for their Marxist bullshite. It's truly sad our great university has fallen to such bullshite. Or maybe it's always been like that. But luckily I was a business major. So none of my professors tried to brainwash me

He has the similar name to me. I’m a 35 year old man. He is like a 75 yr old dude from Mississippi.

We also hate each other.

Every kid that goes pays over $10K each year in tuition and fees. Also I am sure the state pays money to the universities through taxing the citizens. We would any one pay money to these institutions? There are many more worthwhile organization to give money to. Help someone who actually needs your help.

Upon closer inspection, I see that.

I made sure to put my rejection in writing. I will not donate to LSU as long as they support a Marxist organization, with a history of racial division and violent rioting.

Got the same email today, I plan explaining why I don't want to donate to a pandering organization such as themselves.

I used to be a huge advocate for donating to the LSU Foundation. Not anymore. I haven't received a phone call from them yet asking for money, but I'm sure I will.

Is Troy Middleton's name still removed from the library?
Does LSU still support an overtly racist and Marxist organization?

If the answer to either of those are "Yes" they will not see a dime of my money.

Besides the required donation for my tickets, I've never donated a nickel.

I don't consider a state supported institution that charges admission to be a charity.

I did send three kids there, so they got my money.

Kind of hard to argue that when this is in the very first sentence of the statement
