172I absolutely can't stand that bitch but, these are who 2 most recent tweets on the subject. They are dead on because they do NOT mention race. The left has fricked up this whole discussion for years because they've sold it as pretty much only a problem for blacks. And, since the media basically never covers police abuse of other races either, the general public basically thinks, "well, I'm not black so I'm good". But this is false. GROSSLY false. We have massive policing issues and, a big part of the problem is that most of us give them a pass for it. Hell, even this one. "Well what did he do before the video"? Who gives a frick. A REAL police force is supposed to be professional. In any case,, maybe AOC accidentally tripped over being right for a change.

Good lord. It's not hard.
You are asking an armed force to enforce laws BY force. You are paying this armed force, in many areas, the same as you would pay a grocery store shift manager. You are asking this pool of employees to impose the will of the system on a growing culture who has been brought up to resist law enforcement to the point of violence. Further, the federal government is giving money and backing to terrorist groups who actively promote riots and ambushes of responding police. Critics demand further training, yet training centers are being sabotaged and attacked by leftist militant groups. In cities who have "defunded" their law enforcement, crime has skyrocketed and now the same individuals screaming for defunding are blaming cops.
The cops don't write the law. The cops don't command the pay grade or training levels of their officers. It's really easy to blame the middle man, but trying to boil this down to "cops" is simplistic and ignorant. If cops were as bad as AOC like to make out, the body count in the metros would be like a warzone.

This number by itself tells me nothing. I need to see the breakout of this to form an opinion. She is just pandering with surface level detail like she always does. But she is a moron, so I don't expect deep analysis from her.

It's like running around saying "believe women" and then being stunned to discover that in the face of automatic belief, women lie. It's like running around accepting all accusations of racism leveled by blacks and then being stunned to discover that people make up acts of racism.
When you give a group of people a knee jerk pass for their behavior, it doesn't take long for a subset of them to figure the game out.
The real problem is that the supposed "good" ones are COSNTANTLY caught on camera doing not a goddamned thing about it.

This would be the perfect time for America to have an awakening in regards to black on black violence. Unfortunately the only thing to come out of this killing will be stronger hatred towards police.

I've seen literally zero evidence that I should give police some sort of broad based pass or trust them when they tell me how certain events went down.
It's been proven repeatedly that they will lie their asses off and that they will PLAN their lie together.
All with full knowledge that a large set of the public will defend them to the death.
The reason there is a record high in police killing is the simple fact that the crime rate is much higher. You can thank George soros installed DAs and a lack of institutional control in metropolitan areas for this.
