Because US Generals are politicians, not fighting personnel.

Is this true? Sure, a U.S. Lt. General is in Mariupol leading the Azov Battalion. Some of you have lost all critical thinking skills. It's embarrassing.

The last true fighting general this country had was Major General William Dean in Korea, 1950. He personally took out a NK T-34 with a bazooka and was captured, spent most of the war as a POW.

And he was an extreme rarity at the time.

I cannot confirm, as this is all happening to fast for me to track, but #VeternsToday is reporting (#unconfirmed) that a #US 3-star general has been captured by #Russia|n forces in #Mariupol, where he was leading #Azov in battle. h/t

This is straight up fiction.

I can believe there were advisors, Biden has said as much, and it’s what we’ve been doing since 14, I don’t believe we had a General there, especially in Mariupol.

Oh yea I am not talking about a 3 star being there, that would be crazy, just saying Americans are having a far greater hand in this than most people are letting on.

With equipment comes training. Trump sent javelins before. That came with trainers. If anyone thinks there weren't "advisors" there before and likely there now they aren't being realistic.

A hint that this is total bullshite:

quote:

a #US 3-star general has been captured by #Russia|n forces in #Mariupol, where he was leading #Azov in battle.

And I don't think that bullshite is even a strong enough word to describe how bullshite this is. This is a truck load of bullshite on top of an industrial bullshite mine in the downhill from a 1500 head cattle ranch.

Take it for what it's worth, but there is other stuff out there saying he was in the area a few weeks ago.

You know how far fetched it is to believe that Joe Biden got 81 million votes and actually won an honest, and fair election?

This twitter rumor is a mile past that on the absurdity scale. Maybe even farther.

Speculation is Roger L. Cloutier Jr.
His wiki was "updated" scrubbed today.

Wouldn’t be surprised if there’s some fairly senior retired military out there playing cowboy with the Ukrainians. 3 stars… highly doubtful. Active duty… no way.

I doubt the US would have left him in there to be captured

Doubt he would have let himself be cut off

I guess he could be a retiree.
