Nobody believes Tim Scott is the future of the Republican Party. He wants to be a part of it, he needs to jump on the Trump train. Five years ago, Jeb! was telling us talking in Spanish was the future of the Republican Party. We already have a race baiting party. Let's focus on a for the people party.

This is how you become a permanent minority party with no power. Nothing wrong with Tim Scott, but the GOP needs leaders willing to bring teh fight to democrats. They didn't learn a damn thing from Trump.

I'm sure Turtle looks at a black or female candidate as a plus.

The future of the GOP is either Trump-style Republicans, or irrelevance.

GOP plans it that way, being in charge is hard.

Tim Scott seems to be a nice guy and all,

but I'm looking for a flamethrower, like Trump.

The GOPe don't care, in the minority they can slush outside of the spotlight easier.

People always say this. That the GOPe don't learn how to win from Trump or anybody. They don't GAF they don't want to win. They are the uniparty. They are dems and they are all friends.

McCarthy cares because he wants the sweet office with a view of Trump hotel

Zero flair. He’d be just another politician if he wasn’t black. It’s funny seeing turtle say what he did though

Agreed. I really like Tim and genuinely appreciate his voice in the Senate, but if you're looking for a newer black voice, Bryan Donalds is a fresher face.

Since turning 21, dude has spent 36 years in the Senate, 13 years in a few other public office roles.

So, he's been working gubmint pretty much 90% of his adult life and for well over the past half century.

And he's the authority on what the future is?...

agreed. wasn't there some back channel rumors about Turtle's health and he was leaving and prepping some GOPe guy for his role? didn't he show up all bruised like he was beat up, or fell?

What if this isn't about Tim Scott being president, and more about him being a future senate majority or minority leader?

Tim Scott is a milquetoast RINO and Nikki Haley is poison. That ticket is DOA

Hilarious. I knocked Scott and his softball RINO routine and got downvoted a few days ago.

Trump needs to save Tim by getting him away from Mitch. The closer he gets to the turtle, his future gets cloudier. Trump is still the kingmaker.

Speaking of, I feel like Trump is still too quiet lately. Even with his statements and interviews. We need a rally sometime soon.

If for anything, just to remind all the gutless republicans who the boss is.
