day 150 of witnessing Trumps mental capacity rapidly decline

One of these days we'll learn not to elect people over 70. If we have an age minimum, then we should also have an age maximum. Currently, aging is a fact of life, and with aging comes decreased mental ability.

yeah but DeSantis wears high heels. Glad we dodged that bullet.

The max age should be 65 imo. 70 would be a huge improvement though.

Yeah - I’m a big supporter but this is weird - and blasphemous. This is what happened when you have Paula white as your spiritual advisor

Why do you not understand that if you don't vote for Rubio you are, in fact, voting for the Democrat?

You think I agreed with Trump 100%? Even 60%?

Naw.

But I knew that the consequences of him losing would be way worse than him winning even with the 50% I disagreed with.

You "Uniparty" types have got to face the reality that as much as you love the conspiracies, there IS a difference depending upon who wins the elections.

Trump hasn't accomplished anywhere near what I had hoped he would this term, but the border is closed. The tide has reversed on cutting off the genitals of children. DEI has been kicked in the gut. The Jan 6 people who had been unlawfully imprisoned were pardoned (along with the ones who weren't, but whatever).

None of those things would have happened if a Democrat had been elected, but you can bet some things you wouldn't want would have instead.

Quit it with the "Uniparty" bullshite. Vote against Democrats. You don't have to vote "for" the Republican. Just vote against the Democrat.

If you don't, don't complain about what happens, because you voted for it.

And if you don't like the choice that the Republicans favor, vote in the primaries. That's where you have an actual voice in influencing the party's agenda. In the general you're just trying to keep the idiot Democrats out.

Was there a stir caused?

I didn’t see anyone freaking out about it.

Mostly just comments about how sad it all is that the POTUS appears to be mentally ill.

His party has nominal majorities, but only by a hair. Congress is effectively 50/50. The Senate requires 60 votes to do much of anything, and the GOP has 53 on a good day. The number of senators and house reps who are utterly opposed to Trump regardless of being members of the GOP is enough to make Trump’s coalition effectively a minority party in government. As a result, Trump’s administration has only managed to get one mediocre bill passed in over a year.

You can call that incompetence on behalf of the administration or dedicated defiance on behalf of Congress, but it is what it is. If Trump could court enough Reps and Senators to get majority support in key committees, bring votes to the floor, and defeat a Senate filibuster, it would massively improve Trump’s ability to pass meaningful legislation that might outlive his presidency.

I would not be surprised at a deal made behind closed doors. Nor would I be surprised if such a deal was meant as a trap by those same anti-Trump republicans, to get him to commit to an unpopular war so they can purge pro-Trump republicans in midterms and impeach Trump to remove him in 2027.

I don’t know for certain that is happening, but it wouldn’t surprise me based on who is praising vs cajoling Trump on Iran.

Did you reply to the wrong post?

Because i said this

quote:

He's burning down relationships with our closest allies internationally and engaging in Satanic buffoonery domestically.

Iran is exacerbating the Internet and domestic schisms I referenced.

And his inability to rally a majority to pass legislation is also an example of his history of burning Bridges and making enemies of people that he needs to help pass his agenda.

If my Dad was still around this is the kind of thing that would’ve given him pause. He always prayed for our leaders, no matter their political leanings. Putting yourself in the place of Christ is too much. You simply do not go there. If you would’ve put a gun to my Dad’s head and gave him the choice of Trump or Jesus he would’ve answered Jesus every single time without hesitation. This is a disappointing post of his to say the least. He didn’t do himself any favors but I don’t think he cares either.

I’m speaking in a primary. Obviously, if it’s Rubio versus Gavin, I’m voting for Rubio. That said, I’m not voting for neocons in a primary.

Hence, I’m watching JD to assess his tendencies. We know that Rubio is an interventionist neocon.

Is he making enemies or exposing false friends? The GOP talks a big game in elections and then refuses to pass anything they campaigned on. European nations talk about being America’s greatest ally when we’re paying the bills, but wouldn’t piss on us if we were on fire.

I agree that Trump is being completely unnecessarily provocative. I agree that this Iran intervention has a 95% chance of being a complete disastrous failure. And I agree that his trolling of Christians is completely moronic.

However, I don’t see the actions of Congress holding up legislation or European allies refusing to meet NATO requirements or working to secure their vital resources to be the result of Trump merely being an oaf. I see these actions as the result of a political class fully divorced from the wants and needs of the electorate and thumbing their noses at their citizens to openly obfuscate the very principles they claim to embody to protect their own bottom line.

Trump hasn't lifted a finger or put a single ounce of pressure on anyone to get SAVE passed.

He could have used Lindsey Graham to put pressure on Thune and withheld and leveraged his endorsement.

The old Trump would have said "you get Thune to use nuclear option on SAVE and youll finally get your Iran war" and Graham probably would have delivered

Trump SUCKS. Hes a lazy megalomaniac who only cares about his own legacy.

Christ could never be effectively degraded by the actions of any man. The man who would seek to degrade Christ merely degrades himself by the attempt.

Why is this necessary? Newt Gingrich didn't need a President in his party to "rally a majority to pass legislation." Why does this Republican Congress? Hell, very little Democrat legislation was passed because of their President "rallying a majority" of them. Seems like maybe Obamacare was the last thing that I can think of.

It just strikes me as such a freaking cop out at this point.

I love this one.

US flag replaced by the flag of Israel.

The nurse is Melania. The soldier above her is Bibi.

The patient is Epstein with Maxwell praying for him. Not sure who the guy above her is.
