Not that it matters because he’s never running again, but he lost me for good with this needless Iran quagmire. This tweet just lets me feel very comfortable is walking away.
As for candidates on the go forward, I’ll be carefully watching JD. I cannot vote for Rubio (he’s way too neocon). Obviously I cannot vote for any democrat.
I’m not feeling good about the direction of things, personally.

When looking up quotes for the idolatry I was shocked at how many specifically reference gold. Perfect allegory for Trump
quote:
The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of human hands. They have mouths, but do not speak; they have eyes, but do not see; they have ears, but do not hear, nor is there any breath in their mouths. Those who make them become like them, so do all who trust in them!
quote:
The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands nor give up worshiping demons and idols of gold and silver and bronze and stone and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk,

Of course. That's why I'm not a cult member

At the moment, this sums me up. Discouraged by the direction of things. Most of this stuff I didn’t vote for either.

It’s not my job to say who is and who isn’t a Christian. But if someone supports this, they clearly don’t take his teachings seriously
They are engaging in behavior that clearly puts the Earthly above the divine, which doesn't make them not Christians.

f he’s playing some sort of long term horse-trading strategy to get their support on key issues down the road
In Trump 2.0, why would you ever think this is the strategy?
He's burning down relationships with our closest allies internationally and engaging in Satanic buffoonery domestically.

Trump trippin on that one. That is wild!

But hearing people who hate Christianity lecture believers on why we should be upset with Trump over this is also retarded.
You're being defensive and missing the point.
It's not as much telling Christians how to believe. It's pointing out an example of their utter hypocrisy and intellectual bankruptcy in this instane.

Trump cannot pass anything in the Senate without approval from anti-Maga republicans like the Turtle, Cassidy, and Lindsey. I am speculating that a sizable chunk of these republicans in the house and Senate may have offered a deal to pass something like the Save Act or a big healthcare reform if Trump takes out the IRGC. This is pure speculation on my part.

You said that Trump’s adventures in Iran couldn’t possibly have any long term strategy aims because Trump isn’t running again. I counted that this might not be about elections but rather horse trading for votes on capital hill. I lined out one scenario which could make sense.

its funny, but more than that its weird.

I see Christ as divine regardless of how others choose to interpret, depict, or defame him. Christ remains divine regardless of what any of us say or do. That includes both my own actions and those of internet trolls (both elected, foreign, and domestic)
