He is too old to withstand the barrage of hell he is about to face.

He’s not wired to admit being wrong or making mistakes.

I don’t think he retires.

First three months of 2027 will be interesting. Too see if and how Trump and congress gets along. Heck they may surprise us and they might do better than the GOP controlled congress of the last two years.

So the Dems will make same mistake as Republicans did when they got control and squander all momentum and support over some nonsense?

Impeachment is an open question. Dems will be tempted, but that is arguably a mistake. It’s about the only way to make Trump appear to be a victim of sorts.

Then again, Dems can often be shortsighted and vindictive. They may well do it.

I hope you’re right because the Dems could effectively kill the Republican Party by maintaining a little self control and just continuing to let Trump wreck the entire party.

Removing him would be a good thing for Rs and a bad thing for Ds.

He’s going to spend the next 2 years continuing to be corrupt as hell and god-awful at his job. The longer he’s around the easier it’ll be for 28 for Ds.

The sooner Rs punt on Trump, the better. You’re going to see more and more folks realizing this over the course of the next year.

There are existing articles of impeachment already introduced that have been tabled. Google around, there’s several articles on this.

But to me most notably is his business practices, and particularly his cryptocurrency which ultimately was, well, a scam.

Which is one of his primary weaknesses, but that goes for politicians in general. He just takes it to another level.

Hell, it’s difficult for humans in general. That includes me.

I agree, I want him to resign. I’m officially off the Trump train for the first time in ten years.

He’s too dangerous for the party and he will 100% tank 2028 for republicans. Ron DeSantis should come out today and start lightly criticizing what Trump has done so he can distance himself even more from him and jumpstart his campaign.

Trump is a stage 4 cancer to republicans. He has to go.

I honestly think that a lot of republicans in office are relieved that this happened and can start to distant themselves from the administration and his policies.
