Setting aside that Trump did not “tell the world” anything last night, what is heck is “EP?”

Thank you. It is hard enough to determine what JJDoc is babbling out ... even when he does not use undefined acronyms.

Don't forget, no executive privilege through the entire Mueller farce, about time to tell them to go frick themselves

These assholes don't want "justice", they want a predetermined outcome.

Trump had the mindset that he wanted the HOAX to stop - he was getting tired of the daily colonoscopies - he was saddened to see his friends and associates being financially ruined - he actually wanted to devote his time to being POTUS.

THAT is clearly OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE - if Trump had any honor at all, he would just RESIGN because it was HER TURN! dammit.

He had an excellent rally performance - it appears he is getting some phraseology from a good speech-writer. It was better delivered in the traditional sense than what I have become accustomed to.

My only disappointment was that he did NOT delve into what your OP stated.

I was pumped at the thought he would start dropping the hammer on some specific culprits in this whole hoax.

Somebody must be in his ear whispering = "not yet - not yet - hold on til after the IG report - not yet - don't fire until you can see the whites of their eyes - hold on a little longer - they are marching into our trap - not yet - hold fire."

Here is one. From the report:

Obstructive act (p. 87): Former White House Counsel Don McGahn is a “credible witness” in providing evidence that Trump indeed attempted to fire Mueller. This “would qualify as an obstructive act” if the firing “would naturally obstruct the investigation and any grand jury proceedings that might flow from the inquiry.”

Nexus (p. 89): “Substantial evidence” indicates that, at this point, Trump was aware that “his conduct was under investigation by a federal prosecutor who could present any evidence of federal crimes to a grand jury.”

Intent (p. 89): “Substantial evidence indicates that the President’s attempts to remove the Special Counsel were linked to the Special Counsel’s oversight of investigations that involved the President’s conduct[.]”

Glad we agree that Trump committed a crime. Now we can move on and discuss whether or not it warrants impeachment. I say let the voters decide

Yes but by who? It wasn't Trump that has been obstructing justice. Quite a few on the left have been doing just that though!

So... it's obstruction if the President wonders if he can fire the Special counsel.

I wonder if I can rob a bank on my way home from work.

Oh No. I wondered something. Did I just commit a crime?
