You guys need to stop with this argument. Obstruction itself is in fact a crime. Barr never used this as basis for no charges.
It was the fact that quiet simply, no actions occured which actually obstructed the investigation.
Telling mcgahn to get rid of Mueller for conflict of interests, is not obstruction of justice. Its under the president’s domain And purview to replace biased investigators. The investigation would have continued even if u replace a biased SC. Trump never directed to have the whole thing shut down.
Then we hear cries about how he told McGahn tmhe was misremembering the convo and he should correct it.
1) mcgahn had already testified with Trump NOT exerting executive privledge. Which would have been his right to do so.
2) disagreeing with the recollection of events is not directing someone to lie. No matter how much they want it to be.

Ok, so your stance is even though there was no original crime and the one accused fought the allegation, the act of fighting the false allegation was a crime because had it not been for the fighting, then maybe just maybe they would have found the original crime that never happened.
