I was wondering why Kennedy was up there near the podium. Yes he is our Senator but why? He finally had to force his way up to the mic so he could say "Something"..
Well, Ted Cruz did go on vacation during an ice storm and got excoriated for it, so maybe he was trying to prevent that. The other senator is a serviceable chode so he doesn't have to worry about it.

It’s a train wreck. Teedy might be the most reasonable sounding person, but that’s not meant to be a compliment to her.
Kennedy yucking it up about the liberal media.
Landry sounding like drunk Bobby Hebert - actually worse.
This police chief old lady.

Who are all these amazing Louisiana candidates that everyone didn’t take seriously?

They are doing the best they can.

Sure, if you call this game of deflection that they are playing with eachother "fine". None of them have all of the information, most of them don't even have half, and they just take turns running up to the podium to argue with people demanding answers.

What a fricking joke...
"What makes you think the dome will be any safer tomorrow night"
Landry: "I'll be there"

Sen. Kennedy has a "roadie" - "go cup" whatever you want to call it - what's next? A Tall Boy Colt 45 in a brown paper bag? And I voted for him.

It's just like any other press conference 10 hours after an event like this. They aren't going to spill everything they know, especially if there are others involved still at large.
Do you need politicians to orate you into a feeling of safety? I thought it was noteworthy that the FBI is asking for people who may have crossed this guys path to contact them and that there are likely others involved.

What a horrible press conference.
From police comments, apparently they couldn't anticipate someone driving on the sidewalk to evade their barrier to Bourbon Street.

She should lose her job over that alone...
Acknowledged they knew there were weak points due to the bollards being replaced for the SuperBowl, but its ok because they put a car out front and some officers... That was their solution.
No chance someone could driver around that car
