You know the percentage this represents of people renouncing their citizenship? 0.0018%
They actually wrote an article about something that is completely and totally meaningless?

Here’s another part of the article I found particularly disturbing.

If I had been the vice consul I could not have stamped the approval of their denounciation fast enough. People this fricking clueless, these airhead drama queens should be helped and encouraged to leave. I think our taxes should pay for their transportation out of the country. We can’t get these kind of people out of here fast enough!

I’lll take it a step further. There should be a national campaign to help people like this to denounce their citizenship. A campaign with paid promos across all networks and media. I’d gladly pay taxes to fund this campaign.

Here’s what a nationwide promo should sound like:
