I thought it was
Penis = man
Vagina = woman
Are you saying you disagree with that?

It's more complicated than that. She, like a handful of other elite women athletes, is intersex. True, it's not something she chose or something she did, as a transgender athlete would. She was born with a chromosomal abnormality that causes her to produce more testosterone than the normal woman due to (I assume) internal testes. She probably had no idea because she's outwardly female and coming from Algeria I doubt there was any testing for this stuff when she was younger.
Still, it's not fair to the other competitors. You pointed out Phelps, Bolt, etc. but none of their genetic advantage crossed the sex boundary. Some sports governing bodies have decided that the advantages from these types of DSD disorders give too much of an advantage to female athletes. Caster Semenya and Francine Niyonsaba are both intersex track athletes, and they're both banned from competition unless they suppress their testosterone levels with estrogen treatment. So no, it's not as black and white as some outlets are making it out to be, but it's not as simple as you're claiming either.
This is a good response
I can definitely see that side of it as well

Zero women are born with XY chromosomes.

The funny thing about this is
Libs have been saying gender identity is complicated
The right has said God made it very easy - if on day one you have a vagina you are a woman, born with a penis you are a man. End of discussion.
Imane Khelif was born - day one - with a vagina and no penis
Now the right is saying - it's more complicated than that. You have to do genetic testing and count chromosomes under a microscope.
Why is it okay for libs like you to be nuanced and not conservatives?

I would bet many of the great female athletes of all time have higher levels of testosterone.
You’d probably be wrong.
This person had enough testosterone in her system that it looked like severe PED use. Why is she in the ring with normal women???

Only women should compete as women.

What about people like this man?
He likely had just enough penis to get male on his birth certificate. But would lack the amount of testosterone necessary to qualify if tested.

Gay men may not be men but they certainly aren’t women.

Otherwise known as 0.016% of the population
But...not that uncommon

So does this person have XXY?
Different conversation that the IOC should mention if that’s the case.

Let's follow the logic on this one. There are (very rare) cases where people with DSD disorders can produce children despite having XY chromosomes. Are you saying some men can get pregnant?
Because that sounds like lib talk to me.

I honestly don't know the answer to this one.
There are genetic adv/disadvantages in the Olympics. Example:
But it is also not fair that other women have to compete against someone who could kill them.
All i'm saying is most things are extremely complicated and the solution is never found at the polar ends of two extremes which is how most things are framed in bipartisan politics.

Let me splain somethin to ya:
A man’s sperm is going to either have an X or a Y on the 23rd chromosome. That’s going to mate up with the X from the mother’s egg. So the result will be XX or XY on the fertilized egg.
There are very rare conditions where the sperm or the egg will have a fricked up 23rd chromosome and the resultant fertilized egg may end up with X or XXX or XXXX or XYY or XXY or something screwy. That person will be infertile and will likely have all kinds of physical and mental problems.
But it all boils down to what was in that fertilized egg. If the fertilized egg was XX, then all the cells in that persons body will have XX on the 23rd chromosome pair. If the fertilized egg starts with XY, then that person is a biological male (despite possibly having a pussy due to fetal development issues), and all the cells in that persons body will have XY on the 23rd chromosome pair.
Your premise that a lot of women are born with some XY chromosomes is patently false.
The only exception - the only way a person can exist with some XX and some XY chromosomes is that person would have to be a chimera of a male and a female. It’s super rare and there’s only a couple documented cases in the world but it is possible that a male fertilized egg (XY) and a female fertilized egg (XX) that would have grown into fraternal twin fetuses, due to proximity to each other, begin to grow together and fuse during the zygote stage and grown into a single fetus. Symptoms of such a condition would be finding a person that has two different skin tones or different color eyes or hair or other deformities. It’s extremely rare.
If a person has some XY chromosomes, they likely have all XY chromosomes even if they have a pussy and no dick.

Don't go there. This board thinks that Algiers is only a place located across the River from downtown New Orleans
I can be pretty confident that Algeria has minimal woke persons anywhere
