Dude the hottest 4th of July on record in South Carolina was 104. Guess when? 1948. With all the bullcrap climate change claims we haven’t hit that again in 78 years. It’s July, it’s supposed to be hot, there’s no such thing as climate change.

Probably because you can't afford to put it any lower or your boyfriend gets cold easy (because no sane person with a brain would have their thermostat at 86 in the summer).

So you’re trying to make a point of the poor prisoners in 88 degree temps( that’s bullshite by the way) on Texas prison cells and throwing in that you are willfully selling yours at 86 and expect people to believe that bullshite? If you would have said 78 then at least that would be laughable but believed because well it’s something people like you who think they suffer for the greater good

. I don't think it's healthy to pretend it isn't happening though.
Is anybody arguing the climate doesn’t change? It’s giving a shite or not that nature constantly changes that’s the political divide.

Thanks for saving all that energy so I can use it for you. Both of my AC units stay set on 73, sometimes 71 if I come in from working outside and need to cool off more.
Raise it to 75 when we go out of town.
fricking idiot, must be a camel jockey.

There are plenty of people arguing that the warming trend doesn't exist. It clearly does.
Look at the dumb frick cherry picking random temperatures in South Carolina as exhibit A.
These aren't smart people.

We’re 72 bub! LOL

Why shouldn’t they melt? The left constantly hammers the energy sector with regulations, taxes, and green boondoggles then when the grid can’t keep up or the price of energy soars, they tell the people to deal with a problem they created.
This is why most Americans hate the left.

What's wrong with your dog? British Pointer is a shorthair breed; he should be able to tolerate a 78° setting easily.

I would gladly put my thermostat on 86 to save our planet from global warming. But my British Pointer will bite me if I set it above 68.
Solid troll post.
Mention doing your part? Check
Mention why you can’t as if you have no control over your own life? Check

There is a difference between 'abililty' and 'desire'. He lives in the house and sleeps with us in the bed. He thinks the outdoor life is for low class dogs.

Nobody's telling anyone in this country to turn off the AC. Is 78° thermostat setting really that big a sacrifice in this heat? Heck, I got mine sitting on 86°! Before you go *gasp*, that's still about 2 degrees cooler than the highest allowed temp in prisons everywhere in the the Lone Star State, with its famously hot summers
Tardzana, everyone!

The mayor of New York making a suggestion doesn't turn into a national mandate or even a local one. People are making a lot more of this than what it is. I have my AC set on 68 and I'm not at all concerned with anyone forcing me to change it.

So, you’re bragging about voluntarily living under prison conditions? Ok…
