This is stupid. The Founders were the people of the time, who were Christians, and the Founding Fathers knew what/who buttered their toast.

Humans have so much difficulty with timelines. Paul would cast down the teaching of the Talmud and Koran today. Both came centuries after the New Treatment.
First of all- humans have a hard time with timelines? As opposed to what other observers of timelines?
Second- does the Talmud negate the Bible? Of course not. If the Talmud predated the Bible- would Romans 9-11 read differently? Doubt it. There’s nothing in the Talmud that’s worse than crucifying our LORD and savior Jesus Christ.
Romans 9:6-8
6But it is not as though the word of God has failed. For they are not all Israel who are descended from Israel; 7nor are they all children because they are Abraham’s descendants, but: “through Isaac your descendants will be named.” 8That is, it is not the children of the flesh who are children of God, but the children of the promise are regarded as descendants.
I think most Christians who blindly and ignorantly support modern day Israel should read this. Memorize it. But, be careful not to throw the baby out with the bath water.
27Isaiah cries out concerning Israel, “Though the number of the sons of Israel be like the sand of the sea, it is the remnant that will be saved;
Romans 10:1
1Brethren, my heart’s desire and my prayer to God for them is for their salvation.
This should be all of our prayers. But we’re too worried about treasures on earth. Me too. Not judging. Just reminding that…
Romans 10:12
12For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him; .
Now, let’s get to it.
Romans 11:2 and 4,5
2God has not rejected His people whom He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says in the passage about Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel?
4But what is the divine response to him? “I have kept for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.”
5In the same way then, there has also come to be at the present time a remnant according to God’s gracious choice.
Romans 11:8
8just as it is written, “God gave them a spirit of stupor, Eyes to see not and ears to hear not, Down to this very day.” .
But why? For us.
11I say then, they did not stumble so as to fall, did they? May it never be! But by their transgression salvation has come to the Gentiles, to make them jealous.
Thank you, LORD!
Paul then issues a stern warning:
18do not be arrogant toward the branches; but if you are arrogant, remember that it is not you who supports the root, but the root supports you. 19You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” 20Quite right, they were broken off for their unbelief, but you stand by your faith. Do not be conceited, but fear; 21for if God did not spare the natural branches, He will not spare you, either. 22Behold then the kindness and severity of God; to those who fell, severity, but to you, God’s kindness, if you continue in His kindness; otherwise you also will be cut off.
Maybe this will help:
Read your Bible.
Focus on Christ and not this world.
Have an eternal mindset.
Love God and love your neighbor.
(Read your Bible to find out who your neighbor is)
Trust God. He’s in control.

The Middle East can not be fixed until Jesus comes back. To think as Americans we can fix the Middle East by abandoning the Jewish people is arrogant.

The word Jew is a shortened form of the old English word "Judean," referring to the descendants of the patriarch Judah, one of the twelve progenitors of the tribes of Israel.
In the New Testament genealogies, both Jesus' mother Mary and His stepfather Joseph are listed as descendants of Judah, through the line of David (Matthew 1; Luke 3).
Jesus was not only a descendant of Judah, a Jew, but He was also of the Davidic, kingly line of Judah. Several verses refer to Jesus as "Son of David" (Matthew 15:22; 21:9; Mark 10:47).
Paul writes, "For it is evident that our Lord arose from Judah" (Hebrews 7:14)
His conversation with the woman at the well, Jesus says, "You [Samaritans] worship what you do not know; we [Jews] know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews" (John 4:22).

Christianity was born out of Judaism. What do you wish to argue?
Posted on 8/24/25 at 9:43 am to GumboPot
I always understood it to mean the roots of Christianity were in Judaism. There wasn't a lot of Jews around in 1776. There were somewhere between 1,000 to 3,000 Jews in the colonies during Revolutionary War times

According to what evidence?
Gary Habermas has traced the Gospel—fully theologically formed—all the way back to within about 3 weeks of Jesus' death as an oral doctrine.
Paul didn't convert for about three years after that.
So what do you know that Gary Habermas doesn't know?

Also, Paul was a high ranking Pharisee with lots of prestige and power as a Jew.
As a Christian Paul was imprisoned and beaten multiple times and ultimately beheaded for his faith.
What was his motivation to switch teams?

“Judeo-Christianity” was never a thing at the time of our founding. It started creeping in, in small religious and political circles after the Civil War. It became more prominent leading to WWII. From WWII it’s takes the form of a subtle and subversive cudgel so you feel good about supporting Zionism.
You don’t have to say “Judeo-Christian” values. Just say “Christian values”. “Christian values” implies the Old Testament. It doesn’t exclude it.
