The race to electric cars will destroy our economy......

America's oil and natural gas industry supports 10.3 million jobs in the United States and nearly 8 percent of our nation's Gross Domestic Product.
Remember this post.....ain't no way electric cars will produce the jobs and revenue like oil/gas!
This admin is forcing EVs on the public, way too fast. Hell, most people can't afford a NEW EV, and you can't buy used EVs yet! Plus, all hydrocarbon based products will soar in cost, making double digit inflation omnipresent.
I am not opposed to EVs, I am opposed to an administration that would not pass Econ 101!

Sure it will. To do the job of your gasoline driven car you're gonna have to buy 3 or 4 electric cars.

Coupled with all the other Green madness, unbridled spending, unchecked immigration and a current cabinet that is wholly unqualified at almost every position.

The continued reliance on internal combustion engines is becoming the new “white supremacy.” If the Biden administration is criticized for anything, they blame it on the lack of the adoption of green energy or systemic racism. No need to produce facts or explain further, just point fingers.

Not to mention our power grids along with it.

How do we fight and win a war with electric vehicles?

Excellent reply! And it compounds my point even further.
Hold on China, we need to install more power stations before you attack us! LOL

There are few substances that combine the energy density and ease of transportation and storage as hydrocarbons. Artificially restricting the availability and use of those hydrocarbons will do nothing but reduce the quality of life for everyone except for the exempt elites.

EV's are going to be limited by the supply of electric power, but Biden and his gaggle of Marxist eco-nuts are too dumb to realize that.

My question is what they intend to with the other 10k+ plus products and chemicals produced from the hydrocarbon cycle?

2022 tesla model S plaid roasts the standard gas car in every capacity, although at a premium cost. Within 5 years or so EVs will be superior on a large scale.
enjoy wasting all that time pumping gas that could be saved charging at places you are already going to be. youll probably make 20 trips to the pump in every day driving for every 15 minute stop at a supercharger only needed while on the road trips outside the range.

The Marxist lunatics currently destroying the nation want predominantly EV transportation in the next 10 years and they still haven’t built out the power grid to support such a lofty endeavor. Don’t forget, the power grid has yet to be “hardened” to withstand a EMP attack or a once every 100 year coronal mass ejection.

Drag racing is not a metric to compare the economics of arbitrarily forcing a switch from hydrocarbons to electricity. All of the same energy needed to move the millions of vehicles in America every day which is currently produced by hydrocarbons will have to be replaced with electricity. Electricity doesn’t spontaneously exist, you still have to create it, store it, transport it, etc. there are a lot of losses associated with that entire process. No matter how much you invest in “green energy”, burning hydrocarbons will always still be a cheaper option.
Of course, when you realize that the communists in charge don’t want the population to be free to drive around, to live away from big cities, etc., you can see how insidious it is for them to use “climate crisis” to reduce the availability of cheap energy to the masses.

Meh, EV's will not destroy the economy.
Yeah, the lefty loons can talk all they want about eliminating fossil fuels, but THAT talking point is IMPOSSIBLE.
I guess, like going to paper straws, we're going to go to paper car bodies, dashboards, all other plastics we use daily and never think about how it's based on fossil fuels?
What about roads, tires, turf fields, seats, chairs, on and on.
Just like the loons the Ice age is coming if we don't change, now it's global warming if we don't change, same shite as fossil fuels.
And to think we have the ability to reign in China and Russia on this issue....pffft!

It’s not just cars - look at the net zero plan (one that Biden has agreed to do)
In 30 years:
No meat or animal farming
Minimal air travel
No gas oil or natural gas use at all - no wood burning fireplaces or stoves
No more shipping (seriously)
They are hoping we will all be plugged into the meta verse and be so distracted we won’t care.

I didnt realize the ability to charge at home wherever you live disables you from being able to drive around.
and there are superchargers everywhere. its a really outdated talking point against EVs that you cant use them outside big cities. maybe for large scale farmers in remote areas or mountain living folks could be hard to reach a supercharger. but EVs are becoming more and more viable.

EV's are virtue signaling and will not replace the combustion engine. The real threat to replace gas / diesel engine is hydrogen. It's actually clean - you don't need to charge a hydrogen powered car. Toyota is investing in hydrogen car research in larger amounts than EV. Toyota stock would be a good long hold investment. All the hype about EV will just delay the real revolution that will eventually go away from oil/gas and towards hydrogen and nuclear energy - still decades away.

I want to see them convert a KC135 tanker to have an electrical cord extension to recharge a F-35 mid air

Just figuring that out, bud?
