You and I would have gone to jail first before having the option to pay it back
I have a lab beagle mix that has white fur on the tips of 3 paws, under the chin, and on the chest. He has web toes and does a pointer pose when he takes a pi$$. I wouldn’t trade him for anything
Will he hit someone with a helmet to set the record?
Heupel has definitely felt sorry for the Gators tonight. They should be up 50 points

Were the negotiations like buying a new car?
I worked at Daikin in Decatur, AL in the mid 90’s. Shortly after I left, they had an explosion where operators open a valve of fully pressurized tetrafluoroethylene ( monomer used to make Teflon) into a tank that had residual air, causing a chain reaction and explosion. The lead operator was killed instantly by a flange hitting him, but two other operators were burned severely and inhaled HF and died excruciating deaths about 24 hours later. I knew the two operators well and one of them hired in the same day I did. I heard several stories about shortcuts taken that resulted in the incident, but won’t repeat them since they can’t be verified. They have had other issues there as well. Glad I left when I did.

I also worked at the Mitsubishi plant in Mobile that used 49% Hydrofluoric acid (if it’s 50% or greater, it can’t be shipped by truck) used to etch polysilicon used in the semiconductor industry.

I was very fortunate not to have any exposure myself or my employees at the time I was there. We did have calcium glucinate gel at home to rub on our skin if we felt we had been exposed.

One important thing we were told if we ever went to the hospital with a potential exposure was to tell the staff we were exposed to “HF” and not “Hydrofluoric acid.” Apparently someone had said “Hydrofluoric acid” and the staff heard “Hydrochloric acid” and the treatments are totally different. They never said what the final outcome was for that person.

UF is giving out replica NC rings to ALL the fans that attend the Merrimack game next week. That’s over 11000 to give away

Maybe Saban is pushing DeBoer out and trying to get Kiffin to bama

re: Torn Meniscus Question

I’m over 60 and I’m 2 months post-op on a meniscus cleanup. Before I injured my knee, I was pretty active and going to the gym on a regular basis. Since my surgery, I finished PT and have started back going to the gym and playing pickleball wearing a knee brace.

My current experience is pain and stiffness when I first get up in the morning or after having sat for awhile. Once I get moving, the pain and stiffness subsides. I do have to ice my knee after playing and it really helps reduce any pain or stiffness.

The orthopedic doctor said my meniscus has healed, but the pain now is from arthritis. He said it may diminish as time goes on, but may have to consider a knee replacement long term. So far, I’m working through it and we will see what happens next

Ole Miss' Lane Kiffin remains the favorite, at 45%, to be Florida's coach via @Kalshi, followed by Missouri's Eliah Drinkwitz (22%), Washington's Jedd Fisch (17%) & USF's Alex Golesh (8%)

In spite of the poor play by all players not named Haugh, they had a chance to tie with under a minute to go. First game against a top team with a lot of good players.

Probably good they lost after all the hype all summer. They will be there at the end of the season.

Early Signing and then Portal?

Posted by Kirby59 on 11/3/25 at 4:46 pm
If a player signs a letter of intent at the early signing date in December, can they turn around and go into the portal in early January?

With the coaching changes and the timing of new hiring at the end of the season, if players can jump into the portal after signing, it could make things more interesting.
Back in the late 70s, there were two QBs that played for Leon HS in Tallahassee and later for FSU. Both of them were notorious for bobbing and weaving their heads before the snap. It took several years before the refs started calling them on it

This reminded me of them
Trinidad,

Agree with the others regarding getting a personal guide.. we did this about 5 years ago and was well worth the money spent. Especially if you are going for only one day like we did.

We went to a German cemetery and it was quite interesting. I didn’t know they were there until the guide took us. Walking on Omaha Beach and looking up at the hills imagining what those young soldiers experienced coming out of the boats is mind boggling. I got a souvenir glass container that has an Omaha Beach medallion and got some sand from the beach. Every time I look at it I’m reminded of the trip.

You won’t regret the visit
You are just mad the Gators whooped that azz in the Bball NC game.
