Glad a little bitch like you wasn’t around during WWII. They are rationing oh my gosh!

Americans have in the past been willing to sacrifice for the greater good. But not whiners with selective memories.

We are going to win in Iran. Ships are moving again, Iranian speedboats are being blown out of the water, drones and missiles destroyed and the regime is cash starved. Two kinds of people hate this, our enemies and the Democrats. I guess really they are one and the same.

Your biggest fear is this will be over soon.

Average driver drives 15K miles. At 30mpg, that's 500 gallons a year. If gas is up $2 a gallon, that's 1000 a year or 83.33 a month. I saved that each month last year. Let’s wait and see if we are in the same place this time next year.

This doesn’t take into account the downstream impacts that higher oil prices have on inflation with the biggest one being the movement in the 10Y UST.

One last time. Iran is not our problem and was zero threat to deliver a nuclear weapon anywhere near North America. Iran is Israel’s problem not ours. So no, I’m not willing to pay $5 a gallon for gasoline for Israel or any other country. It’s stupid to compare Iran in 2026 to WWII.

Yes, lets compare WWII to this "war" with Iran.. The level of idiot it takes to do that is almost impressive..

Yup, you are representing the vast majority of Americans. Never use your vehicle, work from home. Probably never ever travel either.
Thank goodness this country barely uses any fossil fuels in day to day life.

July 2026 WTI futures are currently trading at $100.30/bbl, current price is $104.90/bbl

Yes, they are also short interest is 300% higher right now than it was a year ago because those who can see what’s about to happen have shorted those futures.

Yeah no doubt implied volatility is extremely high right now, based on the price fluctuations

Prices are moving based on trumps tweets, of course people are going to play the downside, sure there is a lot of interest on the upside as well

And if you know the future you should be able to become very very rich my friend, cheers to you

I don’t know the future I believe I know what’s going to happen between now and July and I do have money on the market moving the way I think it’s going to move. Unfortunately, I am not one of the insiders in Congress who can make that bet at the last minute.

Short term discomfort for long term reward.

Worth it.

Actually gas prices were this high under Obama and Biden.

If the US didn't go after Saddam, your new normal would have been then.

How does firing missiles into girl schools benefit Americans, exactly? The "nukes" they've been about to acquire after twenty years of "almost" being there? Or the terrorism we can't stomach even though we've armed and funded it for decades?

Agreed. If we don’t stop them now the Iranians will be in London by fall.
