Sooooooo…
It goes without saying that these people are morons, but, when the a\c moves the heat from the air inside to the air outside (effectively) do they think that the air inside now stays cool forever? Because if that were the case; which it would have to be for their premise to work; then you would only need to cool the air inside a building once, ever, and there would be no need for continuous air conditioning… thus invalidating their hypothesis anyway.
Second law of Thermodynamics? PSHHH! Pseudo science!

exactly... you know how much cooling is involved in a Facebook data center? it's not a trivial amount.

Clearly some of them will have to be given oxygen checks.

I thought we were reimagining things, not rethinking them?

We don't give a shite what they do up north!

The dumbfricks who push this tend to live in places like LA, NYC, Boston, and Chicago.
LA still needs AC while the other three tend to use a LOT of heating oil in the winter.
I guess that they see that as being different than the south or the southwest needing AC to combat 100+ temperatures.
Send these assholes to Phoenix to try and deal with 110+ desert heat without AC.

I strictly limit the air conditioning in my house at least four months a year.

They will eventually do it via thermostat remote access.

Hahaha nope. Didn’t someone post here last week that the Antarctic ice sheet is actually expanding and not melting. Screw those hypocrites.

Without A/C, Houston, TX would be a small town on Buffalo bayou.

Tell them to come get em, but remember to bring plenty of body bags. Somehow I don't think people are going to give them up easily.

Air conditioners put out more cold air than hot air. Maybe mandate everyone open an outside door of their house for an hour a day and help cool the planet down instead. Makes more sense to me.

Been there done that and moved back to the northeast. And that WAS with air conditioning. And they claim COVID will kill us. Try days and days of unrelenting heat and humidity and see how many will keel over from heat exhaustion.

Maybe a study should be done on heating oil and how bad it is for the planet. Take away heating oil.

Says a bunch of northern liberals. Let them spend a week during August in south Georgia with no AC.
Posted on 8/31/21 at 6:13 am to Rex Feral
Grew up in AL with no AC. Always had a couple of fans running.

One way to lose inner city vote is take away AC.
