The GOP Coalition Moving Forward

So right now people who lean right are faced with the prospect of a fully socialist/DSA run Democratic Party.
The Washington Post admits 75% of their party will vote DSA if a candidate is nominated and the reality is closer to 100% when presented with the alternative of voting for an actual Republican.
It’s critical on the right that we begin to accept that the GOP is a coalition party. In order to maintain a winning coalition elements of the party will have to start defending things that are critical to other factions within the coalition even if it doesn’t benefit them.
The Gen Z+millennial vs Boomer divide is real. The younger voters will have to agree to support maintaining social security and other programs they’ll never get in return for the boomers pushing for onshoring of jobs, limiting immigration, housing affordability and other initiatives to jump start the wealth ladder for people who aren’t currently on it yet.
The bigger divide is GOPe vs AF/MAGA.
I suspect absent the emergence of the DSA that we were about to see a realignment of the GOPe with the DNCe because the GOPe votes with the DNC on almost half of issues already.
Can the establishment who is pro immigration and globalist be maintained within the GOP coalition without selling out the MAGA/AF group by the threat of actual and real socialist threatening their wealth?
Can a coalition that includes them ever really expect to advance MAGA/AF legislation? Evidence so far says no.
What do people see moving forward? Is a maintenance of the status quo where the GOP owns Congress and the USSC but passes nothing preferable to a possible DSA majority government?
Absent one of those paths the only potential I see moving forward is for an actual split of some sort to prevent one side from trying to impose itself on the other and does that lead to war eventually? The DSA is aligning openly with China. If China sent them troops could a divided nation oppose them?

I can’t even begin to fathom how those Republicans process the idea that open borders and not prosecuting crimes is gonna pay off them , in ANY meaningful way, in the long run.
Thune must know that not passing the SAVE act will doom him , the party as well as the nation.
WTF is going on?

I think people including MAGA now trust Trump far less than they did before.
We need new blood badly and someone who can get real shite done and not cheerlead for themself instead.

I have to believe a DSA platform would soon make for what use to be known as blue dog democrats. There is a rise in younger people who are developing relationships, some for the first time, in the religious community. That is opposite of what happens in a socialist society when government is the primary focus. The factors of free crap will win over the lazy and dumb, both that become dispensable in a socialist society

You mean Trump/MAGA?
Trump hasn’t gone after gay people.
Trump socially is a 1990 southern democrat.
The left shifted so far people today can’t recognize how far the goalposts have even moved.
Bill Clinton in 1992 had campaign signs and pins with rebel flags on them.

There is a lot of truth there as progression is always there but still I have to believe that there are many so called moderates in the democrat party that can’t swallow what the DSA is offering. This would destroy a country stability as fast as anything, which albeit is their stance , but they won’t like the sausage that comes out from that.

It's paying off for them, in a BIG way, right now, with CofC 'donations'. No different than sinking the economy with forever wars.
You think that they are interested in the best outcome for America, they are interested in their personal gain.

Social security isn't going anywhere. This is a laughable premise.
You can be against it. You can hate boomers and old people. But recognize that social security is the third rail in American politics. It's untouchable.

Basically the GOP is in control for the foreseeable future
Vance, Rubio, DeSantis, all would destroy any Democrat candidate
Trump will endorse his candidates as President Emeritus a new position he will create….
Dems are destroyed by socialists, communists, and trans factions….no democrats left…..

The domestic culture and politics of the USA has been trending Left for decades and nothing is going to stop that. The trend to the Left will continue to its extreme culmination, IMHO.
Things got really bad in Revolutionary France once that trend to the Left culminated in its most extreme result. Is that particular model not a possible model that the USA will follow?
We do have a Leftist Revolution here in the USA. There's been real pushback against it by one single solitary figure in Wash DC. Only one. Nobody else. And that one fighter is beset by dagger-wielding political "friends" and enemies who want him erased from Wash DC.
Do you really think any power on Earth is going to stop the American Radical Left? I don't know. Sometimes I think that those "Bible End Times Prophesies" might be at work here.
Will there be a United States of America in Heaven? No.

MAGA was always an uphill battle because it centered on a guy whose wealth and particular ego set him a bit outside the usual demands of the party electoral process. He was unexpected and that's why they spent so much energy trying to destroy him round one. Notice it's gotten quieter? It should be no surprise Trump has gone quiet or even betrayed many of the ideals the MAGA voting coalition was built on. He made deals to secure that '24 win.
What's left are largely the same GOPe with a "I Support Trump" brand on them... until he's gone. Then you'll see them revert to what they always have been... an investor-class-first globalist party of warmongers. It would take someone building enough popular clout to go rogue like Trump did in his first election to keep MAGA alive in any way that matters and I just don't see anyone out there like that. Vance is interesting in some ways, but has big money backers he depends on. Rubio is a pure neo-con rat. Who else?

Well, I would agree that the Dems are being taken over. With that said you can not vote our rights away from the written constitution.

I'm an aging Boomer who's voted R my entire life. I don't give a shite what you have to do to preserve our country. It is your mess, not mine. I did the right things. Maybe you can push for euthanizing of olds so you don't need to think about or look at us.

I <3 you. That’s exactly where I am.
FWIW I don’t think Vance is the guy to do what Trump promised he would do and failed.

Appreciate the love
I'm beginning to think the same about Vance at times. I do like Rubio though. He's a seasoned pro but the question is, is he really conservative enough to do the things that need to be done? I'm not talking about all the self-aggrandizing crap that Trump and other of his disciples have done but real shite.
These other people Trump has appointed (Hegseth and others) or wanted to appoint, while loyal as hell, seem very incompetent. Maybe with the last 4 years they've grown. We'll see.

The people in the middle are the ones holding us back. I think 70% of the far right and left would a be ok splitting the country . The rino and deep state democrats would never go for it because they would loose their power .

So the situation you inherited is the same one you are passing on to future generations?
No changes from 1980 to now you can think of?
Zero mistakes made or legacy decisions that might be regrets that are now causing negative outcomes to future generations?
