What "crime" are you idiots talking about here?

How in the hell are those two things remotely related to one another?
Through the Populist Whataboutism Portal.
Someone on your "Team" does something wrong, you just excuse it by pointing at something someone on the other "Team" has done.
Hain't you been paying attention for the last 12-15 years?

In the field she is actually working in being a fully licensed attorney is irrelevant, but the education is beneficial.
You really are struggling in avoid the fact that Zacharia lied about being an attorney and made the President look foolish for describing her as an attorney in bragging on her qualifications.
Is she a "PARTIALLY licensed attorney?"
Here's what you posted to show that she WAS an attorney in crowing response to Decatur...to the claps of the arrayed Seals. Do you stand by it?
quote:
White House Press Secretary Katie Zacharia is a trained attorney, having graduated from her undergraduate and law studies at Pepperdine University (earning her J.D. from the Pepperdine Caruso School of Law in 2011). Her legal and professional resume bridges private legal practice, public advocacy, and political media:
International & Corporate Practice: After graduating from law school, she spent time working in Beijing, China, where she served as outside counsel for the World Bank Group. She also served as president of the campus chapter of the Christian Legal Society during her studies.
Nonprofit & Legal Advocacy: She has worked with conservative legal and political entities, including serving as legal counsel for Fix California (a voter integrity and political organization founded by Richard Grenell).
Facts aren't left or right. They are facts regardless if someone is left or right leaning. As I have said, I'm a conservative who is glad Trump is president. That doesn't mean it's healthy to go along with the bullshite that comes out of the Administration because of Trump's malignant narcissism.
Here, he saw a pretty woman who was incredibly loyal to him. The husband/president slip was telling. Trump values looks and loyalty over competence. This time it bit him in the arse. Why pretend otherwise? It makes you seem reality averse.

In response to the question, "in which state did you pass the bar exam," she responded "WHEN I moved to China."

Well she had said she is a lawyer in televised interviews. Not just cocktail parties.
Nothing illegal happens when a non-lawyer states that he/she is a lawyer in televised interviews.
Now, if she said "I am a lawyer, call me for a consultation" that moves the needle. If she pays for a commercial where she says "I am a lawyer, call me" then that is almost certainly illegal. It is the commercial arena/space and the monetary interest (plus some other things) that move it from the 1st amendment sphere towards being properly regulated speech.

I’m not sure why it would be an issue for the California Bar Association
The Complaint alleges that she may have been (based on published reports) acting as counsel for California non-profit.

This her CV? The writing is rather atrocious.

And calling out someone legally for holding herself out to be a lawyer when she doesn't meet the criteria to do so is not illegitimately weaponizing anything.
You must be a lawyer. They've thought about it. They've decided how they can destroy her and then they will destroy her. I don't give a shite what you lawyers say, it is lawfare. She was living a fine life until she accepted the job and then "their" next task is to destroy her for an unimportant reason. If you lawyers think it is important, okay.

Why would someone call themselves a lawyer if they are not?
For the retards. If you graduate from law school you are a lawyer.

There is nothing inaccurate in what you quoted. As an "attorney" yourself you surely know the difference between someone saying they are a "trained attorney" and "an attorney", right?

I'm not a lawyer, I just have an IQ north of 85.
It's clear that you do not, and that, plus your statement above about not caring about what anybody says regardless of whether it's sound or not, leads me to the conclusion that my time would be better spent not responding to you.
Subject to change, of course, if you pull your low-IQ head out of your arse at some point.
Have a nice day, dullard.

Fixed it.
We all know why she was hired.

Wow, who knew you had such a soft spot for public figures? WH Press secretary is kind of a high profile gig.
Have you seen the video where she says “when I was in China“…?
She has a look on her face that is not very confident. Kind of a ‘get me out of here’ type of look.
This might be a short term gig. We’ll see…

If she didn’t practice law in California without a license then this goes nowhere.
Here's their argument (who knows if it has merit) that she committed the misdemeanor of "holding yourself out" to be entitled to practice law:
