Same. I have yet to see a Ted Cruz sign. The enthusiasm gap is very wide unfortunately.

Nah...every other day there's a kid from the Cruz campaign banging on our door. Theyre out there, you dont notice them.

Oh, and my favorite...the 9PM robo-call

Its like he hates Texas and all the californians moving here (because of the policies Texas has) are trying to spread their virus.

I did see a billboard on 35 this week that made me chuckle.

“California... too far gone
Texas...still going strong

Vote Republican”

He has some propaganda that makes him sound anti establishment. Then you go read what he actually supports and it's hardcore far left socialism.

No way, in a statewide election, he beats Cruz. I will say, I live in the Heights and it's usually a good mix of signs, but I've seen only Beto signs for this election.

The Left's bend towards silencing others or outright violence has put a dent on the conservative yard signs I'm sure.

We argue about the import of a single comma in the 2nd Amendment. What about this CWill post?

I saw Trump signs in the Heights, they were never vandalized, we’re up through the election. But go ahead and play the victim, I guess.

i live 3 up from Austin in the first hard red county.

Beto signs EVERYWHERE. And i've yet to see a single John Carter sign, but for every 5 Beto signs i see 2 or 3 MJ.

I saw Hillary signs all over Pensacola, Florida. Signs don't mean anything.

here would anyone put a yard sign in Uptown? The potted ficus on the 5th-floor apartment patio? There are not ten stand-alone houses in all of uptown.

You serious Clark?

There are a shite ton of townhomes in that area. Many of them have Beto signs in the very small plot of grass they have.

Please, by all means, share with the class, sock. Your display of perspicacity should be enlightening for all of us.

Race is going to be won in the suburbs of Dallas and Houston. If the GOP show up to the polls Cruz wins easily. If they don’t then Beto wins

I live in the Houston suburbs. All I see are Beto signs and bumper stickers. That why I say what I say, don’t get comfortable, don’t be complacent, get out and vote in masses.

Us Texas baws will pull through for Lion Ted. Most people think political yard signs are trashy. The 3 lib houses in my neighborhood are just virtue signaling with their Beto and “We Believe” signs.

there is data to back this up

Wapo

quote:

Cutting to the chase: “[I]t appears that signs typically have a modest effect on advertising candidates’ vote shares — an effect that is probably greater than zero but unlikely to be large enough to alter the outcome of a contest that would otherwise be decided by more than a few percentage points.” The effect of such signs, the study suggests, is about the same as direct mail.

In how many races would that sort of lawn-sign bump make a difference? Of 6,000-plus general and primary elections in House and Senate races between 2006 and 2012, only 2.2 percent of races were within 1.7 percentage points, according to our analysis of initial results. In other words, this could matter in 1-in-50 races.

Typical aTm logic.
