is this the Irish guy pretending to be a Mexican?
Yes. Just goes to show the hypocrisy of democrats. Hes 100% a privileged white guy culturally appropriating a Hispanic name to appeal to hispanics yet no one calls him out on it.

The dem base is fired up and pissed because it was HER TURN and that was stolen away. They’re treating the midterms like it’s a chance to avenge Hillary, shut up those racist nazi sexist privileged white males that have tormented them for two years, and give Trump the finger.
I think they’ll have a slew of “new” voters that sat out the ‘16 election because the polls constantly told them she’d win in a landslide, so they thought their vote was fairly insignificant; not to mention 90% of the people that have hit voting age since then will be left leaning as well.
It’s personal to them right now, they saw the election of Trump as a large-scale attack of their very beliefs and ideals that took place solely to oppose them - they can’t possibly see how anyone would vote Trump otherwise.
There’s a contingency of the conservative base that seems to get complacent when things seem to be going in favor of the party, and while that may not be true in every sense right now I’d wager that there’s a LOT more conservatives than liberals that don’t pay attention to the daily happenings.
Long story short I know Trump has added quite a bit of support from the black and Hispanic voter blocs, it’s the independent voters and matching the Dem’s determination overall that I’m worried about.

The liberal print & TV media here in Texas is doing everything they can to prop up Robert Francis O'Rourke to get him elected. It really is astounding how much they are putting into this. Ted hasn't even brought up Robert's DUI & burglary arrests in the 1990's & his judge father's ties to Mexican cartels yet. I wonder if he will even bother. Bringing that up might even HELP Robert Francis O'Rourke with his supporters.
Damnit I knew there was something fishy about him.

There is more enthusiasm for Beto than Wendy Davis ever dreamed of. He still won't have the numbers though.

Dallas county went 60% for Hillary in 2016
Most of the people posting in this thread, like myself live within this county. Inner cities will always GOTV for Dems.
Has anyone seen if Beto accepted the 5 debates Cruz proposed? That will be lively entertaining.

This shite will turn out like the idiots who said South Carolina and Kansas were in play for Hillary.

Ok 1) He won't win. It won't even be close
2) Beto for president? Seriously please make this happen.
Yes he has more signs and bumper stickers. I thought about putting a Cruz sticker on my truck but I don't want to deal with the sky screamers. Same as my NRA stickers.

Him and the Kennedy kid are textbook examples of the so called "white privilege" yet are given a free pass by the libs. His dad was a judge and he himself went to columbia and got off on any sort of punishment for multiple charges (because his father was a judge) and he appropriates hispanic culture with "Beto"
Yet the actual hispanic Ted Cruz is regarded as a racist because he wants to protect the border.

If buses are extremely active in November it may be closer than the people believe.

Every ignorant white soy drinking bitch is fired up about Beto because they think he is Mexican. It shows off their virtue if they vote for a brown skinned person.

i run all over Temple, TX (Bell County is Red AF) and the amount of Beto signs are amazing. in a 3 mile run through my hood i saw 20 signs.
i've seen one cruz sign and it's at a gas station run by an Indian.
2 friends in my neighborhood (who are not conservative, but aren't sky screamers) both have up Beto signs.
First, Beto is doing what Trump did. That fool is getting out there and covering Texas and it's firing up his base.
Secondly, he is a charismatic dude and keeping it positive on the trail.
i respect the hell out of him for that. if he was HALF as progressive as his webpage indicates (based on his voting records and the fact that most of his stances are "i want jobs for all texans... wtf is going to run on high unemployment) i'd be tempted to vote for him.
but given that his voting record is complete trash and Cruz's voting record is my spirit animal, can't really get behind him. also the dude is white AF and pretending to be hispanic and he cusses like a 16 year old
i'd love creepy Ted's brain in Beto's persona.
as it stands, i think cruz will win, but i'm not going lament if he doesn't because Beto earned this one the way Trump did.

So people in Houston and Dallas are seeing Beto signs. I need you to look at this map.

Cruz wins 54-46.
Next year RBG croaks.
Cruz gets put on the SC.
Rick Perry gets appointed as US senator by the Texas Governor.
Win. Win. Win.
That's. All. We. Do.

I dont live in Harris county my county is red. there were Ted Cruz signs in the presidential primaries and then replaced with Trump signs. I literally had to go to Cruz's website to know what his looked like for this race.
Beto is campaigning all over the place. I havent heard a single thing about Cruz anywhere.

We have a school tax bond proposal up in Frisco. Republican turnout here is going to be much higher than normal.

They called Mitch a dark horse for President.
And then the floods came after a mild rain shower. Monument removal, unfortunately, had little effect on flood prevention.
This looks like a future “moral victory” for Dems.
