You are a taker, not a maker. All you’ve done your whole life is take from the makers of the world.

The zero-sum mindset you have is at the root of so much evil. Once you realize that civilization is not zero-sum and that it is about making far more than one consumes, then it becomes obvious that the path to prosperity for all is just let the makers make.

Regarding Tesla, the reality is that I have been given nothing.

However, if I lead Tesla to become the most valuable company in the world by far and it stays that way for 5 years, shareholders voted to award me 12% of what is built. Anyone who wants to come along for the ride can buy Tesla stock.

If Tesla “merely” becomes a $1.999 trillion dollar company, I get nothing. This is a great deal for shareholders, which is why they voted so overwhelmingly to approve this, for which I am immensely grateful.

And they did so by a margin far more than you won your political seat.

Because 80% of GOP constituents and 100% of DNC constituents are economically retarded.

We all agree that a company with a trillion dollar compensation package for it's CEO should never receive a single dime or subsidy from the US government right?

We do not agree.

I am anti-subsidy, but if the subsidy is available in the market, companies should not be excluded based on their success.

jfc, blow me

Here they come again, picking winners and losers based on subjective bullshite creating an uneven playing field. A hallmark of democrats at least since the reconstruction era.

So should we consider Tesla 3/5 of a company from now on or...?

Subsidies? No. No company should be receiving subsidies; however, if the government wants to contract with a private business to provide a good or service, that decision should be made based on what's in the best interests of the taxpayers regardless of how the CEO of the company is compensated.

These worms with an IQ of 5 should really stop trying to match wits with Elon. He'll tear them to pieces instantly.

Why should they not be able to do business (ie: "receive a dime") from the US government? If the company is that successful, it seems likely that the company can do at least some things better and more cost effectively than the federal government.

Ya know... like getting astronauts back from space?

I don't know why people go after him. He's done so much good for the world, and he makes you like a fool when you attack him.
