I was mostly joking in my previous comment. I'm not going to get out of the market completely, as I think a Democrat majority was already largely priced in.
But I may sell a little and try to buy the dip. Definitely will look at reallocating a little bit. Probably take some out of AI/technology stocks and move more towards consumer staples and healthcare.
We're about to fall behind in a big way in the AI race and innovation in general is probably going to slow.

The market already priced in dem control of house and senate, been crashing for a while……
Trump will veto everything and we will see the market rise since the election is over……

The DSA doesn't believe we're falling behind if China is the one leading the AI/SI revolution. The DSA types love them some China and NWO crap.

Well considering the market is heavily reliant on AI/data centers, yeah democrats will try to resist their newest bogeyman

19 of the last 19 midterms have seen a positive market return at the 12 month mark. If it tanks tomorrow, buy.
This makes perfect sense as that point is the exact moment when we are the farthest point from a national election in the past or future.

The only thing different is Abbott losing and the heavy data center plans for Texas potentially being put on moratorium by the Dem Gov. That could result in AI bubble bursting and tank the market

The futures are now all positive

Well this aged like fine wine.
Market is up 700 as of now. Wallstreet loves gridlock. Makes it easier for them to plan and that is what we will have for 2yrs.

And herein lies the point of the sword of stupidity.
Class warfare is the way. Rich, successful people suck. We need more poors and non contributors instead.

At this moment, 5:43 AM on the East coast and a little under 4 hours from the opening bell, with the House and Senate firmly decided, NYSE futures are up 1.42% and NASDAQ futures are up 1.10%.
You're an idiot.

Isn’t that pretty much what we’ve had for two years? Other than the big beautiful bill, what has Congress passed? Heck, it didn’t even pass the Save Act that had 80% popularity.
