Someone needs to explain to me...
When Democrats obviously break the law in plain sight, there are text messages and emails as evidence, it takes months if not years to investigate and no one is ever indicted much less arrested...
When Republicans ALLEGEDLY break the law, it takes weeks to investigate, and there is a perp-walk arrest with CNN cameras... every time.

My initial reaction-Steve Bannon is among the most influential anti- globalists on Earth. He has a daily show for God’s sake, where he rails against the Chinese with more data than anybody. And he’s stealing cash meant to build the wall ? Either he’s getting politically hosed or we need to hang him on hypocrisy alone.

My reading of the indictment is:
1. Kolfage, definitely a grifter.
2. Bannon, et al, just jumped on the popular bandwagon, may have had some expenses paid, but not part of the $ grift and are just getting caught up in it for poli reasons.

Or he did work for build the wall on behalf of another of his non-profits and build the wall paid him via donating to his other non-profit. It happens, Steve's time is expensive my guess is thousands of dollars an hour.
He may not do it for free, but also doesn't want nor need the personal income.
Who knows, I know him some and what I do know is he isn't hurting for money enough to steal.

Republicans are more ethical and try to do things the right way. We all want to see the guilty get arrested and punished, but we care about due process. Democrats don't. They weaponize all arms of government. They are how dictatorships are made.
