Trump has gone from being controlled by Putin to now being controlled by Bibi.
Some folks are going to convince themselves of what they want to believe and there’s really no need to exert overly great efforts to try and convince them otherwise because their minds are already made up and they’ll only be truly open to things that reinforce their already-drawn conclusions.
Once a good conspiracy takes hold it tends to thrive because there’ll never be enough to “prove it” but there’ll never be enough to “disprove it” either.

I think Israel manipulates US leaders
I think Israel's efforts are particularly effective because usually they're centered on some interest the US already has that is more or less independent of Israel
I think Israel getting the US to do something the US doesn't have any interest in doing otherwise is wildly overstated
I think the US using Israeli "manipulation" as pretext (the argument Israel puts forward, not the manipulation itself) for something we already want to do is wildly understated
Trump wants regime change, he wants to punish the regime for killing protestors, he wants to settle a decades-old scores, he wants to set the region up for the Abraham Accords to flourish without the Iranian menace, and he wants to reduce a potential Russia and Chinese ally's capabilities as the US retracts from ensuring global security.
But it's easier to just say Israel wouldn't abandon their nuclear weapons pursuit, and Israel is happy to feed him the ammo for that.

This might be his legacy play. Take out western satellite proxies in Venezuela and Cuba. Take down the caliphate in Iran. Bring a war-weary Russia to the table in search of a deal, and ultimately leave China completely isolated. Only someone like Trump would have the balls to try it.

I worked on Capitol Hill 30 years ago and Jews (i.e. AIPAC) owned the United States Congress lock, stock, and barrel. I cannot imagine anything since then that would have decreased their influence.

For it not to happen, the US would have had to still meet them over the Pacific and fight. Either way we were fighting the Japs that day.
