Imagine any sane or normal person wanting to join the police after this

All of this just had the opposite effect of what the idiots intend

I think the intended effect was “Crush the APD’s efforts to kill the rioting.”

Georgia was one of the states who had been getting it right the past few days between state and local leadership. Charging these officers killed APD morale and caused other agencies to bail.

Tell me that doesn’t sound like a calculated effort to “save” the riots.

We brought dinner to the partner of one of these guys tonight. They feel alone and shunned. Can't trust their superiors to back them up because of political pressure, and are questioning why to put themselves out there for the city/public considering they'll be thrown under the bus if anything goes wrong...

What happened that caused them to be charged?

Why are cops showing up to work in these cities?

This. Honestly if I was a cop I’d organize behind the scenes and have a week of blue flu and then let the city burn.....

I watched the video with the taser. They took off in the car after being stopped and refused to get out after being told at least 20 times. And the cops are being charged and criminals are going free? Frick this shite.

Maybe organize with your force to defend supportive areas in plain clothes. Wear masks and get away if something goes sideways just like the looters.

So we can agree this isn't so much a race issue as it about people wanting to create chaos and destruction? Because that's what it looks like to me judging by the picture.

They attacked two college students that were driving in their car after getting food while doing nothing to any of the other vehicles. They deserve it.

LINK
Here’s a link to the video of the assault, the cops deserve the charges.

Another link to the video from another angle. Don’t be bootlickers y’all.

Out after curfew.

Refused to stop immediately

Less than lethal force.

No sympathy for the law breakers

I saw on another thread that the "protesters" want to defund the police and have some sort of halfass community policing instead.

Take a look at who will be doing that

The Atlanta PD Police Commissioner is pissed that neither she nor the union was consulted before the politicians made the decision to charge the officers ....definitely didn’t follow protocol

She’s also the one who fired them for doing their job.
