How much was spent to retain power with Cornyn the POS when he was running?

When you look at the legislative accomplishments of this congress yeah, it makes a lot of sense that they'd want to get back to not leading and griping about the culture war rather than the debt/inflation/ai job loss/you name it

1 side just, implements stupid shite, the other, talks a lot of shite but fights the potus.

Fun and games to them.

I still think Paxton wins, but anyone who watches sports knows that if you let the underdog hang around late into the 4th quarter instead of burying them early you become susceptible to upsets with one bad play.

I am a republican, but it is pretty clear the guy does not make wise decisions. I wouldn't support him either. He ruined his chances the minute he supported someone that bets on sports being back in college football. We have to find candidates that are leaders and don't make bonehead decisions like that. This will be a lesson for us.

who could have ever seen this coming?

Yep.

They're all pissed that someone deigned to kick Cornyn to the curb.

It was time for cornyn to go.

Both sides are in a battle.

It’s because they are of nobility, the highest character there is, or exist.

Paxton on the other hand, well that dude has history. Scumbag probably likes pussy too much. How dare he try to act like one of our nobles.

I’ve said it before: if Warner Brothers had never created Foghorn Leghorn, there’d be no Senator John Kennedy from Louisiana.

They shouldn't have to, any man that votes for this idiot needs to lose his Texas Citizenship .

At his church, with the cross of Jesus draped in a transgender pride flag behind him, James Ttalarico delivers a sermon about a poem written by the Islamic mystic Hafiz.

It’s refreshing to see principle before party in the GOP. Hopefully this comes back once Trump is gone.

It was the most expensive GOP primary in history.

And…they have money for Paxton left. They don’t want to spend it. Watch how much they spend on Susan Collins in Main.

Well then that's not good. Republican outsider money should be able to focus on swing Senate seats and not have to worry about Texas.

The title of the thread is misleading, anyway. They don't seem to have the money

Are you saying they didn't spend a ton of money during the primary? That was false?

If only the Senate would do what they are elected to do.

Trust is a funny thing.

In the article you posted, Kennedy said Trump groups were sitting on $850 million. That is a helluva lot more then what would be available from the Senate Leadership PAC.

Talarico is doing his best to hand Paxton campaign fodder between the Karmelo Anthony nonsense and the transgender cross and Paxton can only be bothered to appear disheveled in public every other week.
