Bill Clinton believed it and convinced Ukraine to give up their nukes in the late 90's.

We’re Ukrainian nukes ever on the table?

Regardless of whether it mirrors the United States position on Iran, I agree wholeheartedly with the Russian position.

In fact, no other country beyond those who already have weapons should be allowed to obtain them. Ever heard of nuclear non-proliferation agreements?

Ukraine voluntarily gave up their nukes way back when the US and Russia agreed to back their sovereignty.

We all know how that went.

Exactly, if Ukraine wants to bleed itself dry just to obtain nuclear weapons and Russia feels the need to stop them, then so be it. It’s not our problem

Rat poison. No one has ever proposed the idea of Ukraine obtaining nukes.

Btw, what country has been supplying Iran with the material to build nuclear weapons?

Or bribed us and other countries for billions not to use them. And they'd probably sell them on the black market. Dirt bag pieces of shite.

This gives me some hope that a resolution could happen. Ukraine having nukes has never really been on the table—though I bet they wish they still had them—and this could be Russia setting this up as a point on which they can “win.”
