He wrote a song about the conservative political politicians he doesn't support but it has been the conservative side of society that have shown massive support of his message.
Conversely, the limousine liberal elite political class have abandoned his societal concerns and the progressive side of society have attacked him.

This mght be a good opportunity to reassess his political alignment.

he talks about inflation, taxes, and people on welfare eating fudge rounds.

i'm not saying that the right has any corner on the market for always being correct on those things, but if he's complaining about them, the people on that stage aren't necessarily who he should be complaining about.

They all have their problems but higher taxes and welfare expansion are pretty much squarely on the political left.

fat cats telling you what to think and what to do is for both sides as well.

it's more of a populist libertarian plea to me than a conservative message.

He’s not saying anything all that different from what has been said here in the past. That most of you don’t actually value limited government. You just prefer your brand of federal servitude.

Exactly.

He knew it would, why write it and sing it if he didn't want it to be.

He writes an overtly political song and laments it’s being weaponized?

He probably hoped the proletariat would weaponize it against the bourgeoisie, not the bourgeoisie weaponizing it against their counterparts. It's easy to see that as lamentable and not aligned with his point.

He is basically expressing in song the general dissatisfaction that the whole country has for Congress.

Unfortunately, some don’t see it in Republicans in Congress.

I fault Fox for trying to create an anthem for the debaters on stage. He clarified it.

he explained pretty clearly in his video that it's about ALL POLITICIANS

nothing wrong with that

I don't know why I'm shocked from reading this thread that nobody actually listens to what the hell he is saying. The dude posted a 8 minute video explaining exactly what he's talking about

That song has nothing to do with Joe Biden, it’s a lot bigger than Joe Biden.

Except Biden is the poster child for the political elite. He's literally everything wrong with DC politics.

I get it's bigger than him,but by immediately saying it's not about Biden... that's a problem in whatever message he's trying to communicate. And yeah, it paints his comments as politically left.

The whole fervor behind the song is strange though.

We’re way past that point.

Why do you thing Donald Trump made sure to take his booking photo the way it came out? Because he knew it would play in the social media driven political world.

The lemmings eat it up.
