Obviously he meant all the politicians.

And that is what everyone on this board agrees with.

Dan is fantastic on intelligence community issues. Nobody was better on Russiagate. But, I don't really enjoy him as a general political analyst.

The old Union folk knew that the Right were grifters/profiteers just like the Left. So the Unions played hardball politics to get their cut. They did, but I can remember when we all bought Toyota because the lazy and overpaid Unions turned out crap for trucks. Anybody that steps into today’s political arena and holds power, even for a minute, had better be ready to rumble. Oliver had damn well better make it clear that he despises the Fascist Left equally as the Profiteering Right or down he goes. And even that guarantees a smack down from the Authoritarians.

Trump also wasn’t “on the stage” at the debate, nor has he tried to co-opt the song.

The song is about the Uniparty and the Uniparty’s unholy union with Big Business. It isn’t an anthem for the Murdock family. They too want total control. Want to know what you think. Want to know what you do. And they don’t think you know. But I know that you do.

It’s not a republican v democrat thing. Mitt Romney sucks as much as Joe Biden.

That song is freaking awesome and so is Oliver Anthony.

Agree, W. He produced art from the heart and YouTube thrust him into the cage fight. Given his former and admitted psychological weakness, I wish him well. IMO, Jesus would be the go to.

I thought it was about the political class in general, both Democrats and Republicans. This guy must be one of those who still believes the Democrats are the folks who look out for the "little guy" like coal miners whose industry they're trying to destroy.

Yes, by that he means the Swamp. He's not talking about just RINOs.

It is. His quote in the OP confirms this.

The backwoods coal miner having to explain things to the "intelligent" folks who can't sleep until everyone is in a political bucket is hilarious.

Great response from him and I agree. That said, they took his words and thats what allowed them to be misconstrued.

Not surprising that he is a talented artist but a dumb business man.
