Simply start by eliminating half of all the government bureaus and agencies. They didn't use to exist and everything was fine. It will force govt employees to go out and find honest work.

The debt will not be paid down…it will be inflated away.

All 4 need to end up with significant cuts in outlays. The cuts would need to be gradual over time.

We have to ensure we keep growing our non-public GDP which means cutting things like tariffs and regulations domestically.

We will have incredible pain for 10-20 years.

Every country on the planet is afraid to go toe to toe with the US military in a one on one conflict, and with good reason. And we need to keep it that way.

But that's a different proposition than, "The US controls the world through it's military power."

how bout we reintroduce the concept of paying income taxes back to the middle class? nothing crazy but just back to the 4% to 18% effective tax rate they paid in the late 90's during the clinton administration. that would raise an additional 800 billion to a trillion dollars in revenue. by the middle class i'm talking about people making less than 100k per year.

then lets cut our defense budget in half from a trillion dollars a year to 500 billion, that still makes us the largest defense spender in the world.

do we really need 11 air craft carriers?

so i've cut 1.5 trillion dollars

in the mean time jethro china and japan are carrying long term debt at a 300 percent plus debt to GDP ratio and they don't seem concerned about their deficits.

you could always buy gold it's a bargain now that it's fallen 500 dollars an ounce in the last 4 months!

Again... before any of this happens... the programs that benefit the non-taxpayers have to be slashed first. Medicaid cuts can also predate Medicare cuts. SS disability and non-retirement payments (10 percent of the SS outflow) has to be slashed too.


That's the only way to bring actual taxpayers on board.
