Welp, the 60% of us that pay taxes should stop. Have a convention of states and vote to make it manditory to balance it through an amendment to the constitution. Most states do. Burn the printers and grow some balls and inforce it.
What are they going to do?
Actually, I think its to late or, maybe its like climate change and it's not real.
Why is the US citizen the only one worried about it, those fricks sure are not.

GWB's SS plan would have been the most impactful spending policy in multiple decades

The only hope is to grow our GDP, which depends on Trump’s/America First momentum to continue thru midterms and tbe '28 election.
If/when the Marxist Dems regain control, we are done.

Is there data to back that up?

SFP has no solutions. He's a bright guy but lacks ANY character or principle.
All his fragile ego can comprehend is whatever opinion/view which offers the best chance at him appearing to be above others.
What a fricking waste.

I stated my solutions.
Selling fiscal conservatism, especially to former conservatives promoting leftist/populist economics, is the only hope.

Please, lol.... share with us what makes your view of economics superior to Trump or Bessent.....
Lol..... geez, I would love to sit down with you, share a beer and look into your shallow soul and discuss.
Despite the fact that we probably live within 20 minutes of one another, you would never agree.

Hauser’s Law
Tax receipts will be between 20-25% of GDP
Calculate our deficit spending, multiple by 4-5 and see how much our GDP has to grow.
Assuming we're at $2T this year, that means to break even we need our GDP to get $8-10T larger. Our current GDP is about $32.5T

What about the same question for unprincipled conservatives?

Put power and budget back in the hands of State governments, who are generally more responsible and accountable than Congress. This includes the Repeal of the 17th Amendment.
Take the budget for each program, reduce it by a third and then allocate to the states based on a census of US citizens, not the population. Florida would feast, NY, Cali and IL would scream.

As an unprincipled conservative like your cult leader what are your solutions retardgator?

Historically, the way to accomplish that is to lay waste to a continent and then charge them to rebuild it.

His open border mindset would cost America more money than any of his debt ideas.

-Complete overhaul of welfare, requiring work requirements
-Student loans become private
-Inact law that says spending can’t be greater than 25% of GDP initially, with cap over time that says spending can’t be more than 1.5x tax receipts, dropping over 10 years to 1x
-Up to 25% of social security tax receipts can be invested in equity
-Eliminate FICA cap
-Eliminate social security payments for anyone with annual income >$1 million
-Eliminate carry rule for VC/private equity
-Tax loans against securities (Bezos rule) as income

Open borders....only when we eliminate entitlements
You're wrong, as usual. Entitlements + the military create our deficit

What are your serious, realistic ideas and proposals for balancing the budget and paying down the debt (assuming you actually believe in those issues) that people would support and that stand a genuine chance of being passed through Congress into actual law and policy?
We can't even get soda and snack cakes banned from SNAP. Real reforms are now a pipe dream and also would only affect actual taxpayers and leave the freeloaders with their entitlements in place.

e've reached the point where that is probably not enough to get us to a balanced budget. We aren't growing out of this. You'd probably need to cut defense spending by 20 percent before your 2.5 percent idea is implemented. And you'd need to generate significantly more revenue.
Why is it that so many of you always go to defense when cuts are discussed. Look I am not saying there is not fat to be trimmed in the dept of war, but there are plenty of other places to make cuts also. There are plenty of of stuff to cut along with streamlining military to make a difference and put a dent in this thing.

All politicians spend other peoples money. I will continue to engage that reality.
